Today, I'm giving you closer look at another project from my June Stamp-of-The-Month Class Kit featuring the Regarding Dahlias stamp set! But first, I need to make a clarification about one of my class options.
Cards-Only Option Clarification: This month, I've started offering a "cards-only" option by request of several demonstrators. This optional kit does not come with the featured stamp set or other stamping supplies, it only has supplies to make the cards with envelopes and it is only available to Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I know that demos would prefer to purchase the stamps and supplies from themselves at a discount! My "cards-only" option gives them the opportunity to make my class cards for themselves or to use as a sample for a class of their own, without having to purchase their supplies from me.
Already Have The Featured Set? If you are not a demonstrator and already have the featured stamp set, you are welcome to substitute another item(s) of equal or greater value, and still receive the class card supplies. If you have any questions, please email me!
OK, on with the projects!

Pick Your Own Color—Since I have lots of people purchasing the Stamp-of-The-Month kits online, and I don't know what ink colors they may have, I try to keep that in mind when I plan my projects. This card design, for example, offers all neutral elements, so stampers can select just about ANY color of ink and it will look great! My local stampers will be able to select the color they want, too!
In Color Mania—I've been having fun playing with the new In Colors, so I figured those were as good as any colors to use on my sample projects!
Stamping Fun—I stamped the Regarding Dahlia image three times in each of the colors onto Very Vanilla card stock and I thought they all looked great against the Soft Suede card bases. Here I've used Blackberry Bliss.
Neutral Accents—I added a 4" x 1-1/4" strip of Baked Brown Sugar Designer Series Paper from the 2013-2015 In Color Paper Stack across the front to create a foundation for the sentiment. A skinny 1/4" wide strip of Gold Foil gives the card a little shimmer and shine.
Hi There—The Regarding Dahlias short & sweet sentiment was stamped in the same Blackberry Bliss ink onto Very Vanilla card stock. I punched it out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch, layered it on a 1-3/4" Scallop Circle punch in Soft Suede, and popped the element up with Dimensionals.
Add a couple Pearl Jewels that come in the class kit, and you're good to go! Quick & easy…DONE!
Hello Honey brings out the golden highlights of the Baked Brown Sugar…pretty!
I always love blues and browns together, and Lost Lagoon looks lovely here!
The Mossy Meadow has a real natural, "foresty" feel.
And, the Tangelo Twist version reminds me of the Fall harvest. Can't wait to use this color with autumn sets from the upcoming Holiday Catalog!
