Hi Stamping Friends!
It's almost here! It's almost here! Woohoo!
The amazing 2015 Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration promotion starts in just a few days on January 6, 2015!
And, now that Michelle and I are making the final preparations for our big Kickoff Party tomorrow, I'm really getting excited! I can't wait for all of our class attendees to get their hands on the new products and let me know what they think!
Are you ready for another quick Sneak Peek from the Occasions Catalog? Let's go!
* * * * *
Today we are highlighting another fun birthday stamp set and delightful, coordinating DSP! We'll be creating this one at the upcoming Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration Kickoff Party!
SNEAK PEEK #1: Balloon Bash Stamp Set—With three whimsical balloons, birthday candles, fun confetti, and trendy greetings, this is a must-have birthday set for your collection! It's great for guys or gals of any age!
Stamp-of-the-Month Selection—Balloon Bash will be my featured stamp set for February 's Stamp-of-the-Month! I'll be giving you a complete schedule for which sets I'll be using from February thru June as soon as the new catalog is released on January 6. Stay tuned!
Balloon Trio—I stamped the "Yay" balloon in Bermuda Bay onto the top portion of a 3-1/2" x 4" piece of Whisper White. Then I stamped the other two balloons in Crushed Curry and Calypso Coral, overlapping the images just a bit to keep the bunch close together.
Next, I stamped the Bermuda Bay balloon a second time on scrap paper, hand-cut the balloon with Paper Snips, and popped it up over the top to hide the overlapped stamping and give dimension. The layer is mounted on a 3-5/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Calypso Coral and adhered to the card front with SNAIL.
SNEAK PEEK #2: Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper—This paper pack has all the colors of a fun celebration including patterns that complement the Balloon Bash stamp set. The specialty part is that two of the sheets feature shiny, gold foil accents!
I adhered a 3-1/2" x 1" piece of the DSP pattern that reminds me of the "dancing" candles from the stamp set. It also kind of looks like a shelf of books!
Festive Sentiment—The "HB" graphic and the birthday greeting under it are from the Balloon Bash set, and are actually combined as one photopolymer stamp. TIP: I thought I'd have a lot more versatility if they were separate, so I used my Paper Snips to cut them apart. That made it super easy to stamp the greeting exactly where I wanted without having to only ink part of it with markers. If I ever want to stamp with them together, the super-sticky photopolymer pieces fit back together neatly and securely on a clear block.
The graphic was inked in Night of Navy, hand-cut and popped up with Dimensionals. I added one Rhinestone Jewel for a little sparkle!
