Today's countdown sneak peek is another card that my friend Michelle Hoover created for our upcoming Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration Kickoff Party next Sunday! Talk about elegant! I'm loving beautiful flower with the gold accents!
Background Basics—The card starts with a Very Vanilla card base, layered with a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.
Sale-A-Bration SNEAK PEEK: Lotus Blossom Stamp Set—This Sale-A-Bration exclusive stamp set creates a beautiful lotus flower in three simple steps! Michelle stamped the darkest tips of the flower first in Island Indigo, then stamped the other two additional layers in Coastal Cabana and Soft Sky for a gorgeously highlighted image. She finished up the flower with a Pear Pizzazz stem.
The sentiment is also from the Lotus Blossom set, and it's stamped in Island Indigo.
More Gold Accents—Before adhering the stamped layer to the card front with Dimensionals, Michelle wrapped it with some Gold Baker's Twine and tied it in a knot. My favorite part is the small heart punched with the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack heart from Champagne Glimmer Paper. I think it looks like a charm is dangling there. So pretty!
This is such a simple card that would look amazing recreated in any color combination! Come and make one with us at the Kickoff Party!
