Hi Stamping Friends!
A big thank you to all of the Too Cool team members who came to our Shoebox Swap event last night!
I had a fabulous time making everyone's cards and laughing & chatting with my stamping friends! I'll be sharing our cards for the upcoming Sunday Showcase, so stay tuned for that!
Watercolor Wishes Kit Backordered Soon—Stampin' Up! has let us know that they are getting very close to running out of the current inventory of the amazing Watercolor Wishes Kit. This kit has "greatly outperformed any other kit they have previously offered" and they anticipate that it will be going on backorder very soon. More kits are expected to arrive later in July and in early August.
Whew! My Watercolor Wishes Kits Are Here For Our Class! Fortunately, I had already purchased kits for my Watercolor Wishes class coming up on Thursday, July 16, and I still have space available for this pizza party event! It will only take about 2 hours to assemble the cards, and we'll be having pizza at 6:30pm, so you don't have to arrive right at 5pm. I'm extending the RSVP to Wednesday at 5pm! All Boxed Up Kit Party Favors
I've been going kit-crazy with all of the new kits in the Stampin' Up! catalog and apparently I'm not the only one, since so many are on backorder right now! This kit is also on backorder until July 21. It just goes to show you the popularity of all of the kits in the catalog! You'll definitely want to get your hands on your favorites as soon they are available again!
I assembled the sweet baker's boxes in the All Boxed Up Kit as favors for my team meeting last night and I love how they turned out!
What's In The All Boxed Up Kit? The kit makes 10 boxes measuring 4" x 2-5/8" x 2-1/8" and includes the clothespins, Black Baker's Twine, printed banners, pompom trim, gold stickers and circle tags to decorate them. Adhesive is already on the boxes—just peel & stick!
Mix & Match—There are 12 pre-printed banners in the kit; four each of three different styles. There are also two different colors of clothespins; Bermuda Bay & Watermelon Wonder. Mix & match them so each box is a little different.
Box Décor—After the Sahara Sand box is assembled and filled with treats, Baker's Twine is wrapped around it and tied in a bow. Clip the banner and a piece of pompom trim to the top with the clothespin to keep the top fully closed.
Sweet Sentiment—There is actually an All Boxed Up stamp set (clear, wood) that coordinates with this kit, but I already had another image in mind to use with this set.
You're Fabulous—I chose to stamp an image from the host set Whole Lot of Lovely (clear, wood). I used Bermuda Bay and Watermelon Wonder markers to color on the rubber and stamp a multicolor image. Perfect! It's stamped on the enclosed circle die-cut and I popped it up with Dimensionals onto the banner.
Gold Accents—I finished off the box with some small gold stickers that come in the kit. You actually get a whole sheet of about a gazillion tiny flower stickers, so you'll have lots left over to use on other projects.
