Stampin' Up! released the All Together Collection of products a couple of months ago and the Natural Tones Stampin' Blends Markers sold out so quickly that I didn't have a chance to do the class I had planned. With the promotion on the limited-time All Together products coming to an end on May 2, I wanted to do the class I had planned. Unfortunately, those Natural Tones Blends are not expected in until the week of May 2. I love the All Together Designer Series Paper from this collection! The 6"x6" pack includes all black & white patterns, some which are designed to be colored with the new Natural Tones Stampin' Blends Markers.
The Natural Tones can be purchased together as a set of 10 or in the individual packs of two. The set includes combos in Deep, Medium Deep, Medium, Medium Light and Light tones. Each marker is numbered, similar to Copic or Prismacolor markers, from 100 for the darkest color to 1000 for the lightest.
Colorful Hands—How awesome that we now have a collection of Natural Tones Blends that can better capture all skin tones! You can mix the colors to shade an image for limitless tone possibilities. I selected a pattern from the All Together DSP that has a row of hands for this first card. I simply cut the DSP in half and trimmed it to a 5-1/2" x 3" size. I colored each of the hands a different shade from the Natural Tones Blends, then mounted it onto a 5-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Basic Black cardstock. I mounted the layers onto a Cinnamon Cider card base.
Awesome Accents—I tied some Black & White Gingham Ribbon around the card front and tied it into a double-knot, trimming the ends. I also added a few Champagne Rhinestones for some sparkle.
Sweet Sentiment—I finished up by stamping a Here Together sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals over the ribbon. What a quick and easy card!
Colorful Hands—I cut the DSP into 3"x3" quarters this time, and colored the hands with four shades of Natural Tones Blends Markers. That layer is mounted onto a 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" piece of Early Espresso.
Background Basics—I stamped the Here Together heart image in Crumb Cake down the left side side of a Crumb Cake card base. Next, I stamped a sentiment in Early Espresso ink at the bottom right. I added 2/3 of a Cinnamon Cider colored Heart & Home Doily to the card front, positioned so that it would peek out below the focal point, then I popped up that focal point with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I die-cut a small Petal Pink heart with the Here For You Dies and popped that up, too. I finished by tying a Linen Thread bow and attaching it with a "pinched" Glue Dot. So sweet and thoughtful!
