When I looked closely at some sample Cheers & Sips cards created by Stampin’ Up! I noticed that they used the glasses as planters, along with the greenery images from the stamp set. Too clever! Here’s my own take with a fun-fold center flap card.

I started with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock for the two-part card base. I embossed a 1″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Old Olive cardstock with the floral pattern from the Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder and adhered it to the left side of the card base.

Next, I added a 11″ x 2-1/4″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock, scored at the 5-1/2″ mark, right next to the embossed piece. I finished by adhering a 1/2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper on the right side. I finished by adding a 2″ x 5-1/4″ piece of floral patterned Celebratory Sips DSP on the center flap.

I die-cut a large Bubble Bath Stylish Shapes square and mounted it to the center flap with SEAL Adhesive.

I used the Cheers & Sips Dies to create the planters. The first Petunia Pop one is die-cut with the tall glass and the nested texture die. It was a little taller than I wanted, so I trimmed a 1/2″ from the top. The second planter is made of die-cut Blackberry Bliss, then embossed with the “glass” pattern from the Garden & Glass Embossing Folders. Both pots are popped up with Dimensionals, leaving a good 1/4″ clear at the top for adding in the foliage later.

I stamped the tall, spikey leaves and large curvy leaves in Mossy Meadow ink, coloring them in with Light Mossy Meadow Blends Markers. I stamped the 3-leaf image in Old Olive ink, coloring it in with Light Old Olive Blends Markers. For the flowering stems, I colored directly onto the stamp with Old Olive and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Write Markers. All greenery was die-cut with the corresponding dies from the Cheers & Sips Dies and attached with SEAL or Glue Dots under the top of the planters.

I stamped the Cheers & Sips sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and Petunia Pop onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes Banner die-cut. It’s added with SEAL to the top of the planters.

I tied a piece of Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon into a knot and attached it to the Blackberry Bliss pot with a Glue Dot. Then, I added a couple of Holographic Resin Dots around the sentiment for balanced shine.
