Hi Stamping Friends!

Today is the day!  My Countdown To Christmas class #1 is finally here!  Before I show you the second card we're doing, I have a couple of quick notes:

I Added Pin-It Hover Buttons!  For those of you who love to pin your favorite ideas to Pinterest, you'll love these easy-to-use new buttons.  Simply hover over the photo and a "pin-it" image comes up to click.  The pinned image will link back to the exact post you got it from, so it's easy to bookmark instructions for later reference.  I love this new feature and I hope you will, too!

Please note: If you're reading this through an emailed subscription, you won't see the buttons.  They only show up when you are on my actual blog. Just click on the top headline to go to the original post.

Shelli Updates: For those of you who are interested in how Shelli Gardner is doing after her horseback riding accident, you can find updates from her husband, Sterling, at SoShelli.com.  If you'd like to send her a card, you can mail it to:

My Countdown To Christmas September Class features the Christmas Messages stamps set, along with Season of Style Designer Series Paper Stacks and Season of Style Washi Tape.  If you missed the first card, you can see it here: Christmas Messages Card #1.

The second card highlights the beautiful Season of Style papers.

The card base is Whisper White and it's layered with a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Crumb Cake card stock.  For the background, I added a 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of the polka dot patterned paper, and a 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Old Olive card stock that is embossed with the Stylish Stripes folder.

The Christmas Messages sentiment was colored with Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler Markers and stamped onto Whisper White.  I used the 2" wide Square Collections Framelits to die-cut the image.  It's layered with Dimensionals onto a 2-3/8" square framelits die-cut that is embossed with the Square Lattice Folder.  The bottom Cherry Cobbler layer was die-cut with the Window Frame Framelits.

I really wanted to add some paper piercing around that Window Frame edge with the Festive Paper Piercing Pack, but decided that that was way too many holes to poke for a stamp-a-stack class!  We'll have the template out at class for anyone who's up for the challenge!  LOL!

The Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding bow is adhered to the front with a Glue Dot.  A couple Rhinestone Jewels finish it off.

The horizontal version uses the same basic elements, so class attendees can mix up the look of their stack of cards.

This time, I wrapped the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding around the Crumb Cake layer before adhering it.  Tie and trim for a faux-bow.
