Floral Delight Wishing You A Happy Birthday Card
I just adore the layered flowers that can be created with the Delightful Wishes Dies. What an awesome focal point on this bright & cheery Floral Delight class card!
Background Basics
I started with two different patterns of Floral Delight Designer Series Paper, each measuring 5-1/2″ x 2″. I adhered one to the top and one to the bottom of a Lost Lagoon card base, leaving a bit of a border of the card base showing. Next, I adhered a 5-1/2″ x 1/2″ strip of Pool Party cardstock across the seam of the DSP pieces.
Sweet Sentiment
I stamped a Delightful Wishes big “wishing” word in Old Olive ink onto a Basic White Nested Essentials die-cut. I also stamped the corresponding sentiment in Lost Lagoon ink onto a Basic White Delightful Wishes label die-cut. It’s adhered under the stamped word with a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The entire label is popped up with Dimensionals.
Focal Point
I used the layered Delightful Wishes Dies to create the flowers. The large solid flower is in Daffodil Delight with a Lemon Lolly more detailed die-cut over the top. The smaller flower has a solid Lemon Lolly base with a Daffodil Delight detailed die-cut over the top. Both detailed layers are adhered with tiny dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I attached them with a combination of SEAL Adhesive and Dimensionals. So wonderful!
Finishing Touches
The Antique Pearls look absolutely amazing with the Floral Delight Suite. They are sweet and shiny with just a tinge of yellow in their iridescence, giving perfect coordination! You will love the look in person!
