Floral Romance You Are Loved Cards
Stampin' Up! is known for the way all of their products coordinate beautifully! Their suites of products are designed to work together, but I especially love it when I can combine two suites to really boost the versatility of each element! The Floral Romance suite and All My Love suite go hand-in-hand to help you create all kinds of LOVEly cards, treats and memory keeping projects! We'll be creating the Petal Pink version of this project at the 2019 Sale-a-Bration & Occasions Catalog Kickoff Party. If you're in the Fort Wayne area, you won't want to miss this awesome annual event!
Background Basics—I embossed a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Pear Pizzazz cardstock with the beautiful and detailed Lace Dynamic Texture Impressions Folder and mounted it onto a Pear Pizzazz card base with a combination of Tear & Tape and SNAIL adhesives for a secure hold.
Very Cool Vellum—The lovely colorful pattern is actually a printed vellum from the gorgeous Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper pack. I mounted a 5-1/4" x 1-3/4" piece of the vellum to a Whisper White piece in the same size, adhering it only under where the sentiment would eventually go to keep the adhesive hidden. That white background really makes the colors of the pattern pop! I added the strip to the card front with more Tear & Tape.
Sweet Heart—I die-cut a Petal Pink heart shape using the Be Mine Stitched Framelits. Oohh, I love the stitched border! It's so trendy & pretty! I popped up this element with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Forever Lovely greeting in Fresh Fig ink onto a 3-1/2" x 1" and fishtail cut the ends for the sentiment. I added a 3-3/4" x 1/2" strip of Mossy Meadow onto the back of the sentiment, then adhered it to the heart with SNAIL in the middle and Dimensionals on either end.
Finishing Touches—I colored a couple of Rhinestone Jewels with the dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends Markers and added them to either side of the the sentiment. Finally, I added a Petal Pink Baker's Twine bow to the top with a Glue Dot. The strand of silver in the twine lends a little shine to the focal point.
Two Cool—Our kickoff project card has a more traditional "Valentine's" color combination, so soft and pretty! The background and card base are both in Petal Pink. The colorful floral vellum is identical to the first project.
Sweet Sentiment—I had a little less room to work with on the vertical version, so I made the sentiment flush on one side with fishtail cuts on the other. The olive colored Rhinestone Jewels are the anchor the straight side.
I know my Kickoff Party participants will really enjoy assembling the lovely layers & textures on this card. I'll have all of the pieces pre-cut and pre-embossed, so it will come together so quickly you will be amazed!
