That one beautiful pattern of Flowering Zinnia DSP, you know the one, with the garden full of zinnias lining two sides of the paper…makes super-quick, super-easy cards! It’s designed to be cut into full card fronts, so all you have to do is add a greeting and maybe some ribbon or gems and it’s done—and oh, so pretty! Memory keepers will also love this pattern for scrapbook backgrounds!

I included one of these cards in my Simply Zinnias Class Kit, and I’m sharing several more quick ideas for this lovely paper below.

I started by adhering a 3″ x 5″ piece of the Flowering Zinnias DSP to the right side of a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock. I embossed a 3/4″ x 5″ strip of Berry Burst cardstock with the Zinnias Embossing Folder and added that down the left-hand side. Next, I tied some Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon from the now retired Ribbon Duo Pack. The layers were mounted onto an Old Olive card base.

I stamped a Simply Zinnias sentiment in Berry Burst ink onto a 3-1/4″ x 1″ piece of Basic White cardstock. I adhered a 3-1/2″ x 3/4″ piece of Old Olive cardstock behind the label, then popped it up onto the card front with Dimensionals. I added a few Lemon Lime Twist Shiny Sequins around the sentiment for flair.

Here’s another Flowering Zinnia DSP idea by Laurie Krauss and I pretty much CASEd this swap card for my class card. She adhered a 3″ x 5-1/8″ flower piece and a 3/4″ x 5-1/8″ leaves piece onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock. She added a 3/8″ x 5-1/8″ strip of Glimmer Paper down the seam, then tied some Gold 1/8″ Trim around the layers. They are popped up onto an Old Olive card base.

Her sentiment is also Berry Burst stamped onto a 3-1/4″ x 1″ piece of Basic White cardstock. She added a 3-1/2″ x 1/2″ piece of Berry Burst cardstock behind it and a few Lemon Lime Twist Shiny Sequins for a finishing touch.

This card created by Dawn Bourgette looks fantastic with the pop of Lemon Lime Twist. She adhered a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Flowering Zinnias DSP to a Lemon Lime Twist card base. Then, she stamped the Simply Zinnias sentiment in VersaMark onto a 4-1/4″ x 1″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, sprinkled on some White Embossing Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool until glossy and smooth. She popped up that layer with Dimensionals.

She added a Lemon Lolly Sheer Ribbon bow with a Glue Dot and sprinkled on Shiny Sequins accents in different colors.

I’m loving the diagonal sentiment on this card by Lynn Feldkamp! She layered a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of the Flowering Zinnias DSP onto a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, then mounted onto a Berry Burst card base.

Her Simply Zinnias sentiment is stamped in Berry Burst ink onto a 3/4″ wide strip of Basic White cardstock, trimmed at a diagonal on the ends and popped up with Dimensionals. A few Lemon Lime Twist Shiny Sequins finish the look.

This final card was created by Karen Braxtin and has a pretty DSP two-side card front. She started with a 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Old Olive, scored at the 1-1/4″ mark. She adhered a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Flowering Zinnias DSP to the back of the shortened front flap to make a modified card front where the DSP patterns can be enjoyed on the front and back.

She decorated the shortened flap with a 1″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Glimmer Paper. Then she stamped a Simply Zinnias sentiment in Old Olive onto a Basic White Everyday Details die-cut label. She popped that up and finished with a sprinkling of Shiny Sequins accents.
