You'll also receive the pre-cut card supplies to create 4 cards (4 each of 1 design) in your featured color for that month. It's Here! The NEW Annual Catalog Is Finally Here!

My In Color Club participants will receive supplies to make this pretty card during their Fresh Freesia month. I love this beautiful purple shade!
Background Basics—This card begins with a 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock, scored and folded at the 4-1/4" mark. I used the pretty scalloped border die from the Penned Flowers Dies to cut about 3/4" off the edge, then adhered a 1" x 5-1/2" strip of Fresh Freesia In Color Designer Series Paper on the inside. Next, I embossed a 3-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and mounted that onto the card front.
Sentiment Layers—I stamped the Flowers of Friendship greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Basic White Scalloped Contours die-cut. It's layered onto a 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive.
Pretty Blooms
—I stamped the larger 4-petal flower image from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock three times. I colored the images with the light Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Markers, adding some shading with the dark marker, then punched them out with the Flowers & Leaves Punch. They are attached with Glue Dots and topped with Rhinestone Jewels. How lovely!
Flowers of Friendship Ombré Gift Bags
Each month, I create a little treat holder or 3D gift for my Too Cool Team members who participate in our Stamp & Share event. This month, our team received supplies to create my Flowers of Friendship In Colors LIVE Class projects as their make & takes, so I wanted to make a treat that coordinated with those. I knew I wanted to use the new In Color Ombré Gift Bags, but I wasn't sure how to close them. Typically, I use ribbon or some kind of clip for a closure, but I wanted something a little different this time. I decided to CASE one of my class cards and create a larger decorative element that could "hang" from the top folded flap with the weight of it keeping it closed. It turned out to be the perfect solution! I'll definitely be using this technique for my future gift bags!
Gift Bag Basics—The In Color Ombré Gift Bags include 4 bags each in each of the 5 In Colors. I love the trendy ombré gradation of color. I started with an Evening Evergreen gift bag, folding down the top between 1-1/4" and 1-1/2". I just eye-balled it.
Friendship Flowers—I CASEd the same focal point that I had created for my Soft Succulent LIVE Class Card…you can see it on this blog post. I started by stamping the Flowers of Friendship floral image in Memento Black onto a 2-1/2" x 3-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock. Rather than paper piecing, like I did on the original card, I simply colored in the image with light Polished Pink and light Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Markers. I layered it onto a 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" piece of Soft Succulent cardstock, then tied some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon around the layers. They are popped up with Dimensionals onto an Evening Evergreen Scalloped Contours die-cut. I finished by adding a few Rhinestone Jewels floating around the flowers.
Weighted Closure—I mounted the focal point layers onto the top fold of the Ombré Gift Bag with Dimensionals along the top. This flip-over, weighted element allows you to easily access the contents of the bag! I filled the bag with an individually wrapped Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie for something a little different. It's a nice sized bag, so it will hold all kinds of treats: fun-sized candy bars, gift cards, small gifts and cash!
Two Cool—I also created a Polished Pink version with the same focal point.
Three Cool—The Soft Succulent gift bag was another color that coordinated perfectly with the focal point. Which color is your favorite?
