Friendly Hello Horizontal Easel Cards

Here's a fun-fold card style that is a perfect way to display pretty cards made with the Friendly Hello Bundle!

Background Basics—The card begins with a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Pool Party card base that's scored at 2-1/8" and 4-1/4". I embossed a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Pool Party cardstock with the splatter texture from the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folder pack. It's adhered to the top panel of the card front. On the bottom panel, I adhered a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Basic White, then a 5-1/8" x 1-7/8" piece of Friendly Hello DSP.

Focal Point—I stamped the Friendly Hello images onto a 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Basic White. I started with the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I added flowers in Fresh Freesia, smaller flowers in Pool Party and leaves in Granny Apple Green. The piece is layered onto a Granny Apple Green Stitched So Sweetly die-cut, then popped up onto the bottom panel only with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a few Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels.

Inside The Card—I decorated the inside with more stamping on a piece of 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White. I added more Fresh Freesia flowers, Pool Party flower and Granny Apple Green leaves. I finished by adhering a 5-1/4" x 1-1/4" strip of Friendly Hello DSP to the bottom of the Basic White layer.

The Kick Stand—Every easel card needs a "kick stand" stopper to hold the easel up. For this card, I stamped a Friendly Hello sentiment in Memento Black ink onto a Basic White Tasteful Labels die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals onto the inside of the card and flanked with a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones. This is the card that will come with the 5-Card Kit.

Two Cool—The second card starts with a Granny Apple Green card base and a Granny Apple Green splatter embossed layer on the top. I used the same Basic White and DSP layers for the bottom panel, as the first card.

Focal Point—This time, I stamped the Friendly Hello bird image and colored it in with Pool Party, Petal Pink, Fresh Freesia, Shaded Spruce and Soft Suede Stampin' Blends Markers. I also stamped some flecks around the image with stamped-off Granny Apple Green ink. It's layered onto a Shaded Spruce scalloped rectangle this time. I added Iridescent Rhinestones to the flower centers, too.

Inside The Card—I stamped the flowers in Memento Black and colored them in with Fresh Freesia Blends. The leaves are stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and the flecks are stamped-off Granny Apple Green. I added a couple of Iridescent Rhinestones to the flower centers here, as well.

Kick Stand—I stamped another Friendly Hello greeting in Memento Black onto a smaller Stitched So Sweetly rectangle and popped it up with Dimensionals. This time, my kick stand is a little higher up on the card, so the easel stands up just a little bit more.
