Full of Life Thinking of You Squares Card
What a fun card layout! Who wouldn’t love to receive this bright and cheery card created by Katherine Anderson and featuring the Friends For Life Bundle!
Background Basics
Katherine started by cutting six coordinating 1-1/8″ x 1-1/8″ squares from the bright and bold Full of Life Designer Series Paper. She stamped a Friends For Life sentiment at the bottom of a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock with Lost Lagoon ink, then adhered the DSP squares around the greeting leaving room for a focal point at the top.
Focal Point
Katherine used the Friends For Life Dies to create a Granny Apple Green branch of leaves and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. She also die-cut two hearts from the Full of Life DSP and popped them up over the branch die-cut.
The card front is layered onto a 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ piece of Basic Black cardstock, then popped it up with Dimensionals onto a Lemon Lime Twist card base.
Finishing Touches
Katherine finished with a few Iridescent Faceted Gems, which are sweet and shiny elements with starburst cut designs. Delightful!
Friends For Life Happy Birthday Circles Card
Laura Milligan created this fun Friends For Life birthday card. This one features circles and fun new In Colors paired with Night of Navy.
Background Basics
Laura started by layering a 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock a little off-set onto a 5″ x 3-3/4″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock. The layers are mounted onto a Thick Basic White card base.
Focal Point
Laura created a foundation for the focal point greeting by forming a collage of pretty circles: a 1-1/2″ circle in Pretty In Pink DSP; a 2-3/8″ Peach Pie cardstock circle embossed with Distressed Tile; a 1-1/2″ Pretty in Pink cardstock circle; a 1-1/2″ Peach Pie DSP circle; and a 2″ Pretty In Pink Unbounded Beauty DSP circle that is popped up.
Sweet Sentiment
Laura stamped the large “friend” Friends For Life sentiment in Night of Navy onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut it with the Friends For Life Dies. It’s adhered with a combination of Liquid Glue and Mini Dimensionals. She also stamped the birthday sentiment onto a 2″ x 3/4″ piece of Basic White, banner cut on the end and popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches
I love the glistening Iridescent Striped Trim ribbon that Laura tied into a knot and tucked under the center circle with a Glue Dot. She finished by adding a single Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio accent. So sweet!
