Nancy Thompson created this colorful Hello Ladybug "thinking of you" card and it's so fun!
Background Basics—Cut the Flirty Flamingo cardstock sheet in half to 4-1/4" x 11". Next, cut the base down to 4-1/4" x 7". Next, from the part that is left, cut that down into a 4-1/4" x 2-3/4" and 4-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece. The small piece will be the bottom of the card front and the last piece will be the foundation for the middle "bridge" piece.
Next, adhere a 4" x 1-1/4" piece of Pattern Party Designer Series Paper to the top card front and a 4" x 1" piece on the bottom card front piece. Emboss a 2-1/2" x 4" piece of Petal Pink with the Hive Embossing Folder. Finish by adhering the bridge piece to the top and bottom piece with Dimensionals.
Focal Point—Stamp the Hello Ladybug images as follows: two bug bodies in Memento Black, two Bumblebee wings with Memento Black dots, a leaf in Granny Apple Green and five flowers in a mix of Granny Apple Green, Pool Party and Bumblebee. Cut out the leaf and adhere onto the card front. Then, punch out the ladybug bodies and wings, and punch out additional wings in Bumblebee cardstock, with the Ladybug Builder Punch. Adhere the stamped and cardstock wings together and pop up over the bodies. Attach those to the card front. Hand-cut the flowers and attach them around the focal point. Finish up by adding three Rhinestone Jewels.Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Hello Ladybug sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a 5/8" x 1/2" piece of Basic White and pop up with a Dimensional.
Inside The Card—Stamp another greeting in Memento Black ink and add a couple of large flowers in Bumblebee ink.

Hello Ladybug Free Standing Card
Nancy Thompson created this fun-fold swap card, too, and it's even cooler than the first! The photo above shows how the card opens up and stands up to display…so awesome!
Background Basics—Here's a photo of the card folded down flat to a size that fits perfectly into an A2 Envelope. It looks a bit complicated, but it's much more simple than you might think. This card starts with a 4-1/4" x 11 piece of Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at the 5-1/2", 6-3/4", 8-3/4" and 10" marks. Fold all of those score lines toward the center of the card. Decorate each panel with Pattern Party DSP before adhering the base: 4" x 4" for the top inside, two 4" x 1" pieces on the top and bottom panels, and 4" x 1-3/4" piece on the panel that is front-facing. Next, adhere the final 1" panel to the inside of the card. See the next photo for a reference.
The second part of the card base is Thick Basic White measuring 3-1/4" x 6", scored at 4-1/4" and 5-1/2". Fold those score lines toward the center, too. Adhere a 3" x 4" piece on the front panel and a 3" x 1" piece on the top, then adhere the piece flush to the bottom of the original card base and the 1/2" panel to the inside of the card.
Assembly—It's a lot easier to see the assembly, than to try to describe it! Basically, the original card base folds toward the inside and ends up curling in to a "6" shape. The second piece ends up looking like an upside-down "L".
Focal Point—Create ladybugs like the first card, only this time in Real Red. Stamp the two bug bodies in Memento Black onto Basic White and two wings in Real Red and Memento Black onto Basic White. Punch out those, as well as Real Red card stock wings with the Ladybug Builder Punch. Assemble by adhering the wings with SEAL and popping up onto the bodies. Next, adhere them to a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White. Stamp a Hello Ladybug "hello" three times, as shown in the photo. Add a Real Red Faux Linen Ribbon, then mount onto the card front. Add a few Rhinestone Jewels for sparkle. Too Cool!
Card Message—Write the message on the back of the card and decorate with more Hello Ladybug images!
