He's All That Neutral Layers Cards
I love the look of grays and tans together and thought it would be fun to try on a masculine card. Here's one with stamping and one with die-cuts and pops of color.
Background Basics—I started by adding a 1-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of He's The Man Designer Series Paper onto a Crumb Cake card base. Next, I die-cut a Stitched Rectangle shape from Crumb Cake and adhered it to a 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" piece of Smoky Slate that was embossed with the Gingham Embossing Folder. I added a strip of the Natural Finish Ribbon across the layers, securing the ends on the back, then mounted all layers onto the card front.
Sensational Sentiment—I stamped the He's All That sentiment in Basic Gray ink onto Basic White cardstock and die-cut it with the All That Dies. It's adhered to a 1-3/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic Gray and popped up onto the card front. I finished with a few black Classic Matte Dots. Loving those layers!
Two Cool—For the second card, I started with a Sahara Sand card base. I tied some ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack around a Gray Granite Gingham embossed layer and mounted that onto the card front. This time, I tried a Cajun Craze pattern of DSP over the top of the embossed layer and under the ribbon.
Sensational Sentiment Layers—I die-cut a Basic Gray label with the Stitched Rectangles and tucked that under the ribbon, too. Then I die-cut an All That banner in Crushed Curry cardstock and popped that up with Dimensionals over the ribbon. I finished by adding a circle die-cut from the He's The Man DSP over the top and a few Classic Matte Dots below. So quick and easy!
