In The Country Thanks Card

I received this swap card from Cathy Miller. The In The Country Sale-a-Bration stamp set (#160828) is simple and beautiful! The two sketched scenes make it so easy to create a stunning card without a lot of work. Cathy added the country road scene to a simple bright background for a lovely thank you card.

Background Basics—Cathy adhered a 2" x 3-3/4" and 2-7/8" x 3-3/4" pieces of the Dandy Designs Sale-a-Bration Designer Series Paper (#160836) to a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Gray Granite. Then she tied some Gray Granite Shimmer Ribbon around the layers before mounting them onto a Basic White Thick card base.

Country Scene—Cathy stamped the In The Country scene in Gray Granite ink onto a Basic White Deckled Rectangles die-cut. She layered it onto a 2-3/4" x 2-1/2" piece of Gray Granite cardstock, then popped it up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—Cathy made Basic White and Gray Granite banner die-cuts using the Stylish Shapes Dies, then stamped a sentiment in Gray Granite from the Thanks A Bunch Sale-a-Bration stamp set (#160816). They are popped up, as well.

Finishing Touches—She finished up with a couple of Pearl Jewels near the sentiment.

In The Country Some Days Are Harder Card

Kelly Acheson shared this incredible swap card with me. Again, she let the sketched In The Country scene do the heavy lifting without a lot of fuss.

Background Basics—Kelly started with a 4-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White that she stamped with a Basic Gray sentiment from the Sending Support Sale-a-Bration stamp set (#160822) . She layered it onto a 4-5/8" x 3-5/8" piece of Basic Gray and mounted it onto a Smoky Slate card base. She added a 5-1/2" x 1-1/2" strip of Dandy Designs DSP (#160836) from the Sale-a-Bration Flyer for a pop of color. You're gonna see that Dandy Designs DSP everywhere…it just goes so well with everything!

Country Road—Next, Kelly stamped the In The Country scene in Basic Gray onto a 3-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Basic White. It's popped up and brushed with Wink of Stella glimmer.

Finishing Touches—Kelly flanked the focal point with two Elegant Faceted Gems.
