Hi Stamping Friends!
I've got one last card from my Best of Christmas club to show you today and it's a cute one, if I do say so myself!
Ho! Ho! Ho! It's holiday wishes from Santa!
This is a great card design to use up those bits and pieces of left-over designer papers! The Whisper White, verticially-folded card base makes a great background to highlight any of your favorite coordinating papers.
Four Squares—My Season of Style Designer Series papers are cut to 1-1/2" squares, and they are layered on 1-3/4" Cherry Cobbler squares.
Santa Medallion—I stamped the Best of Christmas Santa image in permanent StazOn Black onto Whisper White, then colored in the image with Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Blushing Bride inks with a Blender Pen. For some glitz, I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to his hat with a 2-Way Glue Pen.
After coloring, I punched out Santa with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch and layered him on a 2-3/8" Scallop Circle punch popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—The Greetings of the Season sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I tied a 1/8" Old Olive Taffeta Ribbon around the card front and tied it into a faux bow.
Three Squares—I wanted to mix it up for the second card, but four squares wasn't working. So, I tried using only three, with one flush at the top and one flush at the bottom. I still used the extra square on the inside of the card!
Ribbon Option—This ribbon is two parts. I glued the ribbon down to the card front with Multipurpose Glue and trimmed the ends, then I tied a bow with a separate ribbon and attached it with a Glue Dot.
