Lovely Apple Blossoms Card

So many new stamping goodies…so little time!

It always seems to be the case, doesn't it?.  I've been wrapping up workshop orders, clearing out my retired sets, packaging door prizes, getting ready for Stamp Club on Friday night, and planning what to take on my Convention trip next week (including some dynomite bell bottoms for my 70s party).  Meanwhile, my new stamps and new colors and new accessories sit patiently waiting for me to have a REAL stamp-tastic day.

I finally got a chance (made the time) to play with the new Level 2 Hostess Set called Apple Blossoms. This one was quick and easy…proving once again that it really doesn't take much time to create a simple, yet delightful card.

Honestly, it took longer to clear my craft table than it did to put this card together.  How the heck does my workspace get SO covered with SO much craft crap SO quickly, anyway?!  I swear, it's like the opposite of the Elves & The Shoemaker fairy tale going on here on a daily basis.  But, I digress…

Behold, my simple, yet incredibly lovely, pair of Apple Blossom cards:

I have to say, although I usually have a difficult time staying simple, I think I pulled this one off.  This card was CASEd from Tessa Wise at Craft Girl Designs.  I didn't depart from her card very much (and that is the beauty of CASEing, you don't have to!).

Card Details: I think this one is pretty self-explanatory.  Crumb Cake card stock base, pierced with the Paper Piercer and Mat Pack Template.  Card stock pieces are Naturals Ivory, Old Olive and Peach Parfait. Apple Blossoms are inked in Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry (first card), Bravo Burgundy (second card) and Old Olive.  Linen Thread and buttons (find similar ones in the Brights Buttons set).

Do you have any simple cards you'd like to share?  Email me a picture!
