Happiness Abounds Wonderful Card
A single bloom with simple layers makes this card by Anastasia Radloff quick and lovely.
Background Basics—Anastasia started by adhering two 3-7/8" x 1" strips of the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base. They were positioned about 1/2" from the top and bottom of the card.
Single Bloom—Then she stamped a Happiness Abounds flower image in Memento Tuxedo Black onto a 3-3/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Basic White. She colored in the bloom with Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Markers. It's popped up with Dimensionals onto the middle of the card front.
Sensational Sentiment—Anastasia stamped the Happiness Abounds sentiment in Melon Mambo onto a 2-1/2" x 3/4" piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock. She trimmed the ends at a slight angle, then adhered to the card front.
Finishing Touches—She added a few Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots around the flower and a little Wink of Stella glimmer to the flower center.
Happiness Abounds Best Wishes Card
Amy Storrie created this Happiness Abounds card with some beautiful layering of both background and focal point elements.
Background Basics—This card begins with two pieces of the Hues of Happiness DSP; a floral print measuring 4" x 2" and a more solid pattern measuring 4" x 2-1/4". Amy adhered them onto the bottom right and top left corners of the Melon Mambo card base. She die cut a 4" x 2-1/2" piece of Basic White with the pretty pattern from the Blossoming Happiness Dies and adhered that with Liquid Multipurpose Glue over the top of the larger DSP.
Beautiful Bloom—Amy stamped the Happiness Abounds flower and leaf images in Memento Black onto Basic White. She used Stampin' Blends Markers to color in the flower with Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo, and the leaf with Granny Apple Green. Both images were die cut with the Blossoming with Happiness Dies, then popped up onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. The circle was also popped up onto the card front with Dimensionals. She finished with a single Daffodil Delight Glossy Dot for the flower center.
Sweet Sentiment—Amy stamped the Happiness Abounds sentiment in Melon Mambo onto Basic White and die cut it with the Stylish Shapes Dies. It's popped up with Dimensionals and the end tucked under the flower.
