Magical Meadow Season of Sparkle Card
The Magical Meadow Bundle has all of the sprigs, branches and berries you’ll need to create a beautiful bouquet of layered winter foliage! These class cards really showcase that!
Background Basics
I started by stamping the Magical Meadow leaves in Moody Mauve near the center of a Moody Mauve card base front. I added a 5-1/2″ x 1-1/4″ strip of Blackberry Bliss cardstock across the bottomj. Oooh, I’m loving that Moody Mauve & Blackberry Bliss color combo!
Next, I added a 2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper along the left side. I finished the background by adding a Lost Lagoon Deckled Circles die-cut right where the two layers cross.
Twigs & Sprigs
I began by die-cutting Blackberry Bliss and Pretty Peacock twigs using the Magical Meadows Dies. I adhered those to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Next, I stamped a sprig in stamped-off Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White and die-cut that with the coordinating die. Finally, I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color the berry stamp with Moody Mauve, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss, then stamping onto Basic White cardstock. It’s die-cut as well.
Sentiment & Finishing Touches
I stamped a Magical Meadow sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a Basic White Something Fancy die-cut, then popped it up with Dimensionals. I tucked the stamped twigs under the sentiment, popping them up with more Dimensionals. You may have to trim the stamped twigs to get them positioned where you want them.
Finally, I added a few Iridescent Pearls around the foliage! Gorgeous!
Two Cool
My second card begins with the leaves stamped in Misty Moonlight onto a Misty Moonlight card base. I added a Pretty Peacock layer across the bottom and a 2″ x 4-1/4″ piece of Moody Mauve along the left side. I decorated the Moody Mauve layer with a 1-3/4″ x 4″ piece of Winter Meadow DSP. The Lost Lagoon Deckled Circle is the same.
Focal Point
I created Blueberry Bushel and Moody Mauve cardstock die-cut twigs for the background layer. Then stamped the twig in stamped-off Mossy Meadow ink. The berry image is colored and stamped just like the first card. Sentiment is in Misty Moonlight this time around. Just lovely!
