Mediterranean Blooms Hello Cards!

Use Host Code HJ94YPAX For Changing Leaves Class!

I’m so looking forward to my next class tomorrow! I hope you can join me…details below.

Today, I’m sharing a couple of swap cards from one of the popular suites from the Annual Catalog…Mediterranean Blooms.

I’ll be sharing cards created with the cool Changing Leaves Hybrid Bundle, which includes stamps, dies and hybrid embossing folder. I’ve paired the awesome textured leaf elements with the Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper to create elegant cards with a pop of gold.

I received this pretty swap card from Mary Anne Grimmer. It features the delightful Mediterranean Blooms Suite. There is just something about the bright, beautiful fruits paired with the gorgeous blue & white tiled patterns. So awesome!

Mary Anne started by stamping the Citrus Blooms decorative pattern in Night of Navy ink onto a 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of cardstock. It’s mounted onto a Boho Blooms card base. Next, she adhered a 5″ x 1/2″ piece of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Series Paper along the bottom and added another Mediterranean Blooms DSP 5″ x 2-1/4″ piece above that.

Mary Anne used the Citrus Blooms Dies to die-cut a pre-printed image of floral oranges from the Mediterranean Blooms DSP. She popped it up with Dimensionals. So easy and beautiful!

Next, she stamped a Citrus Blooms sentiment, in two parts, with Night of Navy ink onto a 3/4″ wide strip of Boho Blue cardstock. She used the Happy Labels Pick-a-Punch to trim off the end with a decorative scallop. It’s adhered to the card, tucked under the focal point, with SEAL Adhesive. Mary Anne finished with a couple of gems from the Opal Rounds Assortment.

Monica Giberti also sent me a lovely Mediterranean Blooms swap card. She used the same image as Mary Anne’s card above, but instead of a DSP die-cut, the focal point is a stamped and colored Citrus Blooms image.

Monica began by stamping some Citrus Blooms flowers in Garden Green ink diagonally across a Garden Green card base. Next, she embossed a 4-1/4″ x 4″ piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. She added a 3/4″ x 4″ piece of Mediterranean Blooms DSP along the left side.

Monica stamped the Citrus Blooms image in Memento Black ink onto Basic White cardstock, then colored it in with Stampin’ Blends Markers. She used Garden Green for the leaves, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie for the flowers, Pumpkin Pie for the oranges. She die-cut the image and tied some Linen Thread around the stem before popping it up with Dimensionals.

She stamped the sentiment in Garden Green onto a Basic White cardstock die-cut label created with the Perennial Postage Dies, trimmed off and popped up, as well. She finished with a couple of Basic Rhinestones for sparkle.
