Natures prints solid background - two cool

Nature's Prints Solid Background Cards

The Nature's Prints images and die-cuts look amazing against a solid color background. Here are a couple of examples of how you can change up the foliage for different looks on this classic layout.

Background Basics—This class card begins with a 5" x 3-3/4" piece of Gray Granite cardstock that's embossed with a Fern Embossing Texture. It's mounted onto a 5-1/4" x 4" Basic White layer then tied with some White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. I adhered the layers onto a Night of Navy card base.

Fun Foliage—I stamped on Nature's Prints image in Night of Navy ink and another in Gray Granite ink. They are both die cut with the Natural Prints Dies and adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I also made a couple of Starry Sky leafy die-cuts and added those to the mix with more Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped a Nature's Print sentiment in Night of Navy onto a Basic White All That die-cut label. Then I used the splotchy stamp from the set to stamp-off Gray Granite and add it all over the label. It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Finishing Touches—I added a few Iridescent Pearls around the arrangement. Loveliness!

Two Cool—My two cool version is vertical and starts with a Starry Sky Fern Textured background. It's mounted onto white and tied with Crinkle Ribbon like the first card, then mounted onto a Gray Granite card base.

Double Leaves—I stamped the leaves from Nature's Prints in Starry Ink onto both Basic White and Gray Granite cardstock, die cut them and added them to the card front. The white layer is popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—The sentiment label is created in the same way as the first, this time with a Starry Sky greeting onto a Natural Prints die-cut. More Iridescent Pearls are added around the focal point. I'm loving how quick and easy this one is; no-fuss die-cuts and it is still so lovely!
