Needlepoint Nook Friend Mini Notebook

Hi Stamping Friends,

Today, I have an altered mini notebook that Peggy Tassler created as the table gift for our Too Cool Team event last week. Enjoy!

Needlepoint Nook Friend Mini Notebooks

Each month at our Stamp & Share event, I like to give my Too Cool Team members a little table gift. This month, I found some mini composition notebooks from Office Depot and thought they would look so cute dressed up with the Needlepoint Nook Designer Series Paper. Thank you so much to Peggy Tassler, who created these pretty little notebooks. I just love their design with so many stitched elements! Let's take a closer look!

Notebook Cover—Peggy started by covering the front of the mini composition notebook with a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Needlepoint Nook DSP. Next, she used the Needlepoint Elements Framelits to add a faux-stitched floral pattern to a 1" x 4-1/2" strip of Mossy Meadow cardstock. It's adhered to the edge of the cover with Tear & Tape.

Lovely Label—Peggy punched out a Whisper White Pretty Label shape and stamped it with the Needle & Thread stitched image in Blushing Bride ink. Next, she punched out another Blushing Bride Pretty Label shape, trimmed it in half length-wise and positioned the two halves along the top and bottom edge of the stamped label. The whole think is popped up with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—The sentiment is die-cut from Poppy Parade cardstock using the Well Written Framelits and adhered to the label with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Butterfly Accent—Peggy stamped the Needle & Thread stitched butterfly image in Balmy Blue ink onto Balmy Blue cardstock, then punched it out with the Butterfly Duet Punch. It's attached with a Glue Dot and adorned with a couple of Pearl Jewels.

Back Cover—The back of the notebook is covered with a 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock. It's stamped with a Mossy Meadow sentiment from Stamping Your Way To The Top, which is an exclusive stamp set just for demonstrators and perfect for cheering on our teams!

Ribbon Bookmark—Before the back cover was added, Peggy attached a Poppy Parade Mini Striped Ribbon to the back to use as bookmark. How cute & clever!

Too Cool—Peggy used a similar Needlepoint Nook pattern with a little bit different color combination for some of the notebooks. Really the only difference was the sentiment being changed to Rich Razzleberry and the ribbon was changed to Berry Burst Ruffled Ribbon.
