Nothing's Better Than…Chocolate Cards
Today I'm sharing the last of the Four C's from the Nothing's Better Than stamp set (Four C's = Cookies, Coffee, Cocktails & Chocolate). This card is part of the LIVE Class Kit for this week.
Background Basics—I started by stamping some little sparkle images in Crumb Cake ink onto the top and bottom edges of a 2-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Petal Pink cardstock. I mounted that piece onto an Early Espresso card base. Next, I embossed a 4-1/2" x 3-1/4" piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—I started by die-cutting the "chocolate" word in Early Espresso cardstock with the Love You More Than dies. I shaped the die-cut so it followed the curve of the Whisper White label, die-cut from the Hippo & Friends Dies. I positioned the die-cut on the label, then stamped the Nothing's Better Than phrase in Cinnamon Cider ink onto the label. Then, I adhered the word onto the label with tiny dabs of Multipurpose Glue.
Chocolatety Goodness—I stamped the chocolate outline image in Early Espresso ink onto Whisper White scrap cardstock, then colored the candies in with Stampin' Blends Markers. I used Soft Suede, Petal Pink and Cinnamon Cider Blends colors. The chocolates were die-cut with the Love You More Than dies, then adhered to the label. Next, I added a folded piece of Faux Suede Trim behind the label before popping it up with Dimenstionals. I finished by adding a few Champagne Rhinestones floating around the focal point.

Two Cool—The second card is a swap card that I received from Sandra Risi that served as inspiration for my card above.
Background Basics—Sandra's background begins with a 5-1/2" x 3" piece of In Good Taste woodgrain patterned DSP. Her Cinnamon Cider layer measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".
Sweet Sentiment—Sandra's focal point is on a Whisper White Stitched Shapes circle. She die-cut the word "coffee" and used it with the same sentiment.
Cool Coffee—She stamped the steam for the coffee in Early Espresso, then created the coffee image in Early Espresso outline and colored with Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends. Sandra's card also features a little piece of Faux Suede and Champagne Rhinestones. Thanks for the cool idea, Sandra!
