Hi Stamping Friends!
Last week, I was able to hang out with my Too Cool Stampers Team at our monthly event and I left with all kinds of great ideas for using lots of new catalog products! It's always a shot of creative inspiration when I'm with my team!
Today, I'm highlighting a pair of cards that Peggy Tassler shared with us, created with the products from the new Coffee Break suite!

Peggy's Two Cool Coffee Break Suite Cards!
With the extreme popularity of coffee drinks, it was obvious that the NEW Coffee Break suite of products was going to be a big hit right out of the gate! I mean I love it, and I don't even drink coffee! I haven't had a chance to play with this collection quite yet, but my friend Peggy Tassler has really been enjoying it! I just adore what she's created so far!
Coffee Café With Coffee Rings Card
Background Basics—One of my favorite parts of this card is the background coffee rings. Peggy remembered that the Timeless Textures stamp set had this fun image that coordinated perfectly with the coffee theme. She stamped the rings in Crumb Cake ink onto a piece of 4" x 5-1/4" Whisper White card stock, then added some Early Espresso splatters from the same set. It's adhered to an Early Espresso card base.
Decorative Border—Peggy tried out the NEW Decorative Ribbon Border Punch to make the fun Berry Burst scalloped accent across the bottom. This is one of those cool, continual punches that allow you to make the border any length! It's adhered with sponged on Multipurpose Glue.
Focal Point—Peggy created a foundation for the coffee cup by die-cutting a circle from the Foil Frenzy Designer Series Paper with the Layering Circles Framelits. It kind of looks like a chocolate chip cookie, doesn't it? The coffee cup is is assembled by die-cuts from the Coffee Cups Framelits:
- The cup is die-cut from Whisper White card stock.
- The lid is die-cut from Early Espresso card stock.
- The wrap is die-cut and embossed with a "corrugated" texture from Lemon Lime Twist card stock.
- The pieces are adhered together with SNAIL, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Heart Tag—The tag is die-cut from Whisper White card stock, stamped with a Coffee Break heart and colored in with a Berry Burst marker. I love the way that Peggy tied on some Linen Thread and tucked it under the lid. The tag is popped up with a Dimensional, too!
Sweet Sentiment—The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Wishes, stamped in Early Espresso, punched with the Classic Label Punch and attached with a SNAIL and Dimensionals combo.

Happiness Is A Cup Of Coffee Card
Background Basics—Peggy tried out the new Coffee Break Designer Series Paper as the background for this card. She adhered a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of the woodgrain pattern to a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Powder Pink. After tying on some Powder Pink 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon, she mounted the background onto an Early Espresso card base.
Coffee Drink—Peggy stamped the Coffee Café coffee cup shape in Early Espresso onto Whisper White card stock, and added Powder Pink hearts all over the cup. The lid was stamped in Powder Pink with the straw and whipped cream images stamped in Early Espresso. Everything was cut with the Coffee Cups Framelits. The wrap was cut from some retired DSP. The die-cut Whisper White tag was stamped with a little "hi" greeting from the set in Powder Pink ink and tied on with Early Espresso twine (retired). Once the whole cup was assembled with SNAIL, it was popped up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped the delightful phrase in Early Espresso 1-3/4" x 2-1/4" piece of Whisper White, then layered onto a 1-7/8" x 2-3/8" layer of Crumb Cake and popped up with more Dimensionals.
