I love so many things about the Perennial Lavender Suite, but my absolute favorite is the color combination from the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper! It’s all of my Too Cool style colors: Lost Lagoon, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia, Pretty Peacock, Berry Burst and Crumb Cake. All you have to do is check out the colors this blog’s banner to see what I mean!

I started by die-cutting a large Perennial Postage label in Gorgeous Grape cardstock and adhered that to a Lost Lagoon traditional card base. I added a 2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Perennial Lavender DSP on the left side of the label. I created a focal point foundation with a smaller Crumb Cake Perennial Postage die-cut adhered to the middle right side of the card front.

I stamped the Painted Lavender flowers in Gorgeous Grape ink and coordinating stems in Pretty Peacock ink onto Basic White cardstock. I die-cut both with the matching Painted Lavender dies and popped them up with Dimensionals and Mini Dimensionals.

Next, I die-cut little Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia sprigs with the Painted Lavender Dies and adhered them to the bouquet with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the Perennial Postage sentiment in Berry Burst ink onto a 3″ x 3/8″ strip of Basic White cardstock and popped it up with more Mini Dimensionals over the stems.

I tied a double-bow with Linen Thread and attached it to the stems with a Glue Dot. Then, I sprinkled a few Purple Fine Shimmer Gems around the focal point for sparkle! So pretty!

Karin Braxton sent this elegant Painted Lavender card to me for a swap. I love its simplicity and stacked layers!

Karin started by embossing a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Basic White with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder, matted it onto a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Highland Heather and mounted it onto a traditional Basic White Thick card base.

Karin die-cut a Shaded Spruce branch with Painted Lavender Dies and adhered to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next, she stamped Painted Lavender images and die-cut them with coordinating dies: larger floral in Highland Heather ink, smaller floral in Gorgeous Grape ink and stems in Shaded Spruce ink. She adhered the stems with Liquid Glue, then popped up each layer of flowers with more Dimensionals for a double-stack.

Karin stamped the Perennial Postage sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink onto a 3-1/2″ x 1″ strip of Basic White and popped that up, as well. She finished with two large Gorgeous Grape Purple Fine Shimmer Gems at the bottom of the card. Just lovely!
