I love experimenting with colors! The Brushed With Beauty Designer Series Papers has a glorious palette, but on this LIVE Class sneak peek, I expanded the colors to include a lovely set of blues. Not a fan of blues? You could try a similar layout with greens, reds, browns or purples!

I started by adhering a 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Brushed With Beauty DSP onto a 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ piece of Early Espresso, then mounting it to a Lost Lagoon card base with SEAL Adhesive.

Next, I die-cut a large intricately cut leaf in Early Espresso cardstock with the Petals of Beauty Dies. It’s attached to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped all of the flowers onto Very Vanilla cardstock with the detail/shading images first in full-strength ink, then stamped the fill-in/solid blossom with stamped-off ink in the same shade. One large flower was stamped in Balmy Blue (it almost looks like Lost Lagoon), another large flower was stamped in Pool Party and the third smaller flower was stamped in Coastal Cabana. Next, I stamped three flower centers in Early Espresso ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. All of the pieces were die-cut with the Petals of Beauty Dies and adhered to the card front with SEAL Adhesive or Glue Dots.

I stamped the Words of Beauty “because” in Pecan Pie ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock and die-cut with the middle “outline” style Words of Beauty Dies. It’s popped up with Dimensionals; some cut to fit the smaller places.

I also stamped the second part of the sentiment in Early Espresso ink onto a Words of Beauty die-cut label and popped that up, as well.

I completed the look with a few Crumb Cake colored Pearls of Beauty gems. Ooooh, so shiny & sweet!
