Regency Park Single Bloom with Cane Weave Cards

Oooh, I'm loving the Cane Weave Embossing Folder! It looks just like a cane-woven chair texture…Too Cool! It makes a spectacular backdrop for this single flower image created with the Sentimental Park Bundle.

Please Note: The Milky Dots gems are already sold out, but I have enough of them to complete my kits!

Background Basics—I adhered a 1-1/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Regency Park DSP to the left side of a Sweet Sorbet card base. Next, I embossed a 2-3/4" x 5-1/4" piece of Sweet Sorbet cardstock with the Cane Weave texture and adhered that onto the remainder of the card front.

Focal Point Foundation—I stamped the Sentimental Park cross-hatch image in Mint Macaron ink across the lower part of a Basic White Deckled Rectangle die-cut label. That's adhered to a 3-3/8" x 3-3/4" piece of Mango Melody cardstock. I added a 3-1/4" x 3/4" piece of Shaded Spruce behind the layers, just under the cross-hatch, then mounted everything onto the card front with SEAL Adhesive.

Single Bloom—I stamped the Sentimental Park flower outline in Sweet Sorbet ink onto Basic White cardstock, then added a Mango Melody inked solid bloom image over the top. The stem is stamped in Shaded Spruce onto Basic White, then the solid leaves were added over the top in Mint Macaron. I die-cut those images with the Sentimental Park Dies. I popped the flower and step up with Dimensionals onto the rectangle.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Sentimental Park small greeting in Sweet Sorbet ink onto a So Saffron Stylish Shapes banner die-cut and popped it up, too.

Finishing Touches—I tied a bow with the White Crinkled Seam Binding and attached it under the sentiment with a Glue Dot. I finished with a few white Milky Dots around the flower. So pretty!

Two Cool—My second version begins starts with a different Regency Park DSP pattern and Shaded Spruce Cane Weave texture onto a Shaded Spruce card base.

Focal Point Foundation—This time, I stamped the Mint Macaron cross-hatch a little lower. The Deckled Rectangle is layered onto a Balmy Blue piece with a Sweet Sorbet strip underneath.

Single Bloom—Both the flower and the stem outline images are stamped in Night of Navy, to try to replicate the flowers on the DSP. I stamped the solid flower color in Petal Pink and the leaves in Mint Macaron.

Finishing Touches—The sentiment element has a different Sentimental Park phrase stamped in Night of Navy ink this time. I finished with a few gold Milky Dots.
