Hi Stamping Friends!

Here's another one of the card designs we'll be making at my "Last Thursdays" class tomorrow night! It's not too late to RSVP! I'd love to have you join us!

I'm loving that the Spring Catalog has some fabulous stamp sets that can easily be used for anyone…guys or gals, adults or kids! The Starburst Sayings set, with its fun gears shapes in a variety of sizes, is certainly one of those sets!

The sayings are non-traditional, fun and versatile for lots of occasions, too! And, what other stamp set is gonna give you a "Hello, My Name Is" stamp? LOL!

Card Base—I started with a Bermuda Bay card base and layered a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Whisper White on the top as a foundation. A 5-1/4" x 1-1/2" strip of the fun black & white striped Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper covers the bottom.

Silver Fancy Foil—The upper portion is covered with a 5-1/4" x 2-1/2" piece of the polka dotted Silver Fancy Foil Vellum. TIP: You can see adhesive through this transparent layer, so I added dabs of SNAIL on the backs of every polka dot to conceal it. You could also try Glue Dots under the polka dots or in the four corners instead. Multipurpose Glue definitely warps the vellum and is noticeable, so I would stay away from that.

Starburst Circle Layers—Next, I started layering different circles using the Starburst Sayings set and the coordinating Starburst Framelits! The stamped images are popped up with Dimensionals.

The "Happy Day" starburst was stamped in Strawberry Slush.
The "celebrate" image was stamped in Basic Gray.
The remaining image was stamped in Summer Starfruit.
I die-cut a small starburst shape from Bermuda Bay card stock.
I die-cut a medium starburst shape from Silver Foil.

Silver Accents—I'm really enjoying all of the metallic papers and embellishments we have in the Spring Catalog, too! Just like yesterday's cards, this one showcases three different metallic accents: Silver Foil, Silver Fancy Foil Vellum and a Basic Metal Button. I threaded the button with a piece of 1/8" Bermuda Bay Taffeta Ribbon and tied it to make a faux bow, then adhered it with Glue Dots. I love how it continues the circle theme, too!
