Hi Stamping Friends!

It's Sunday Showcase time again…and I have lots of new cards to show you!  This week, in anticipation of my Blendabilities Class coming up on Wednesday, August 20, I thought I'd show you some of the amazing Blendabilities cards that a few of my Too Cool Demo Team members shared with me recently.

Michelle - blended bloom coastal brown sugar copy

Created by Michelle Hoover.  Color Combo: Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar & Whisper White.

Michelle Hoover recently had her own Blendabilities class and this was one of the cards her stampers created featuring the Blended Bloom single stamp.  The main part of the flower is colored with the Coastal Cabana Blendabilities, and the center is colored with Crumb Cake!   I love that she made the flower centers in two colors…why haven't I thought of that?

Also features: Beautifully Baroque Texture Impressions Folder, Four You (wood) sentiment, and 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon.

Peggy - bloom with hope coastal copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  Color Combo: Coastal Cabana, Old Olive, Sahara Sand, Basic Black & Whisper White.

Peggy Tassler used Blendabilities to color with one of the flower images from the Bloom With Hope (wood) hostess stamp set.  I love that she stamped the same image on the background in Coastal Cabana ink, then colored in the one for the focal point with Coastal Cabana, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight

Also features: 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Decorative Dots Texture Impressions Folder and 3/8" White Taffeta Ribbon.

Michelle - neon flower shop thanks copy

Created by Michelle Hoover.  Color Combo: Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight.

This is another card that Michelle Hoover featured in her recent class, and I'll be doing one very similar to it at my Blendabilities class, as well.  I call it the Neon Embossing Technique and it's simply coloring over White Embossing Powder with Blendabilities! So much fun!

TIP: I LOVE that Michelle's Flower Shop (wood) flowers really POP against the black background.  My sample class cards don't have the brightness that hers do, but we figured out why…she used the darkest Blendabilities colors, rather than the lightest.  It seems a little counter-intuitive, but the darker hue gives a greater saturation of color, making it stand out even more!  Too Cool!

Also features: Let Your Hair Down (wood) hostess set sentiment.

Kathe - bloom for you daffodil copy  Kathe - bloom for you daffodil 2 copy

Created by Kathe Madsen.  Color Combo: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Basic Black & Whisper White.

Kathe Madsen used the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities Marker to create her cheerful Blended Bloom card.  she also used the marker to color a Large Pearl (retired) for the flower center and the smaller Pearl Jewels to accent the Perfectly Penned (retired) sentiment.  Those pearls almost look like gold metallic!  Sweet!

Also features: Apothecary Accents Framelits.

Michelle - blendabilities fabulous trio copy

Created by Michelle Hoover.  Color Combo: Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, Pumpkin Pie  & Whisper White.

Ooo la la!  The bold colors on this Blended Bloom trio card—Cherry Cobbler, Coastal Cabana, and Pumpkin Pie—are so stunning!  I love that Michelle only highlighted parts of the Blended Bloom on each part of the trio.  She also used the same color markers to create matching Rhinestone Jewels to accent the Million & One (wood) sentiment.  It IS fabulous!

Peggy - coastal masked blended bloom copy

Created by Peggy Tassler.  CASEd from Janine Tinklenberg at Stamps, Paper, Scissors.  Color Combo: Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Hello Honey & Whisper White.

Peggy also made a Blended Bloom card in Coastal Cabana with a Hello Honey regular marker center.  If you're starting to feel that Coastal Cabana is a must-have color to have in the Blendabilities line…then you're right!

Peggy used some simple masking to create the Blended Bloom background, then added a Striped Scallop Thinlit die-cut along the bottom. I love all of the patterns and textures—beautiful!

Also features: Bloom With Hope (wood) hostess set sentiment.
