Hi Stamping Friends!

I've got some awesome stocking stuffer ideas to share with you from our Too Cool Demo Team shoebox swap last month!  I've already shared two of the cool ideas: Jodi's Chalk Talk Treat Holder and Rita's Santa Gum Holder.  Here are the other projects we had the privilege of making that day!

Kathe with muslin bag

Our first project comes from Kathe Madsen and features the very versatile Muslin Bags!

Christmas Cheer Muslin Gift Bags—We stamped a phrase from the Christmas Messages (wood) set, colored in Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler markers, on the front of the Muslin BagsTIP #1: Place a piece of scrap chipboard inside the bag so the color doesn't run through to the back side. TIP #2: Heat set your ink with the Heat Tool to avoid smearing or bleeding.

We added a little Cherry Cobbler banner and Gold Embossed medallion with a piece of crinkly thread from the Burlap Ribbon.

Cheryl with gift card holder

Kathe's friend Cheryl Wilfong from Port Angeles, WA, was a guest to our shoebox swap, but she fit right in with her quick & easy gift card holder.

Matchbook Gift Card Holder—We decorated the front of our matchbook with the Lovely As A Tree (wood) stamp and glittered it up with Dazzling Diamonds.  We made this out of one 3×12" strip of Cherry Cobbler scored along the long side at 3-3/4", 8", 8-3/4" and 9.1/2".  After punching a notch with the Decorative Label Punch, we folded up the bottom for a neat matchbook-style tuck-closure.  This project was CASEd from Lyssa Zwolanek at Song of My Heart Stampers and she's got a terrific tutorial.

Also features: More Merry Messages (wood), Rhinestone Jewels and Modern Label Punch.

Pop 'N Cuts Gift Box—Michelle Hoover couldn't join us, but sent all the makings for us to put together this sweet gift box created with two Pool Party die-cuts from the Pop 'N Cuts Card Base Die. We decorated the outside of the box with Festive Flurry (wood) snowflakes inked in White Craft Ink, then lined the inside with Winter Frost Designer Series Paper.  You can find the tutorial to make this from Tanya Bell at Stampin' T!

Also features: White Organza Ribbon, Silver Glimmer Brad.

Joni with cello bag pouch2

Next we had Joni Macy, who is Michelle Hoover's downline, with a fantastic and originally designed treat pouch.

Merry Christmas Cello Bag Treat Pouch—A fun treat pouch with a window!  It's made from 10-1/2" x 4-1/4" card stock folded in half, decorated with Winter Frost DSP and die-cut with the Ovals Collection Framelits.  A Medium Cello Bag is adhered to the inside to create the pouch.  A simple Basic Black card stock topper is attached with Silver Ribbon to the top as a closure.

Also features: Sassy Salutations (wood), White Embossing Powder.

Becky with gift card box

Becky High is one of my newest recruits and, even though she didn't have many supplies to work with yet, she came up with this pretty gift card box!

Polka Dot Scalloped Gift Card Box—An easy-to-make, basic box style designed to fit a gift card!  The Crumb Cake bottom dimensions are 5-3/4" x 4-7/16" and scored at 1" all the way around.  The Whisper White lid dimensions are 5-13/16" x 4-1/2" and scored at 1" all the way around.  We embossed the lid with the Perfect Polka Dot Folder and use the Large Scallop Edgelits for a pretty border.

Also features: Festive Flurry Framelits, Red Glimmer Paper, Pearl Jewels.

Carmen - winter frost cracker2

Carmen DeBruce is never short on project ideas and she didn't disappoint with these cute traditional holiday favors!

Winter Frost Christmas Crackers—This was another fun project made with the amazingly versatile Envelope Punch Board!  It's a fun, holiday "cracker" treat holder created with the Winter Frost DSP and decorated with Silver Foil and Silver Ribbon.  It's CASEd from Dee Slater and you can see her handy tutorial for complete instructions.

Also features: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.

Peggy with exploding box

Peggy Tassler may be new to the team, but she's been stamping with me for years!  She brought an adorable mini treat!

Festive Flurry Mini Exploding Box—This cute little box is made from a 6×6" piece of Winter Frost DSP creatively folded up to hold two Dove chocolates.  It's decorated with the Festive Flurry Bundle (wood) and and features a Coastal Cabana Apothecary Accents Framelit tuck-closure. See all the instructions at Wendy Weixler's Wickedly Wonderful Creations.

Also features: Silver Glimmer Paper, Teeny Tiny Wishes (wood).

Darla with candy cane holder

Darla Eigenshink recently celebrated her 7th anniversary with Stampin' Up!  She was cool way before there even was a Too Cool Team!  (There might be a country song in there somewhere!)

Envelope Punch Candy Cane Holder—Here's another fun project created with the Envelope Punch Board…are you seeing how this really is a must-have tool?  Check out Sam Donald's tutorial at Pootles.co.uk to learn how to make it.  We made ours with Crumb Cake card stock and decorated it with Season of Style DSP and Cherry Cobbler Ribbon. The tag is made with the Christmas Collectibles Bundle (wood) and attached with some Early Espresso Baker's Twine.
