Hi Stamping Friends!

I'm back home again in Indiana! By the end of last week, my dad's condition had improved enough to give us a window of opportunity to fly him home.  He's feeling much better than expected right now, but he's in the final stages of heart & kidney failure, so his situation could deteriorate quickly. Thank you so much for your continued prayers! 

I got some rest over the weekend and now I'm ready to start tying up the loose ends left from my abrupt departure and get back to some sort of stamping routine.  I'm missed my stamping friends!  I started putting yesterday's Sunday Showcase together, but didn't get it completed, so I guess it's time for a Monday Showcase!

Spotlight on Retiring Floral Stamp Sets

Each Sunday (or Monday!) in May, I'll be putting the spotlight on some of my favorite retiring products from the 2015 Retired Stamps & Accessories List. 

Today, I'm featuring several of the retiring floral stamp sets!  Let's take a look at some of the Too Cool projects I've created with these awesome sets.  Click the links for complete details about each project! 

Pleasant Poppies Spotlight Cards—The Pleasant Poppies also works great with the Spotlight Technqiue!  So fun and easy!  I used the sentiments from Blooming With Kindness here, too.

Tall & Skinny Too Kind Cards—Here's another Too Kind project.  All you need are a light & dark shade of the same color to create the two-tone flower…the results are amazing every time!  The Hello Honey Stitched Satin Ribbon and Lullaby Designer Series Paper are also retiring.

Gifts of Kindness Window Frame Cards—Gifts of Kindness is another stamp set with a pretty floral focal point image and lots of versatile sentiments!  I love it here with this fresh color combination.  It also features the retiring Window Frame Framelits (now 50% off!), Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon and Confetti Celebration Designer Series Paper.  I'm definitely going to miss the Window Frame shape.

Happiest Birthday Apothecary Art Card—The vintage-inspired Apothecary Art stamp set takes pretty over the top!  I love it here as a colorful spring wreath focal point. The classic Labels Collection Framelits are also retiring and are currently 50% off!  This is an older project, so most of the other supplies are already retired.

Bloom With Hope Cards—If you love to color, this amazing Bloom With Hope flower has the perfect colorable images!  It looked great colored with the discontinued Blendabitilies here, but you could also use watercolor techniques with an Aqua Painter, or simply layer colors with a Blender Pen.  This is a hostess set, but it will be gone with the end of the current catalog. This was one of my favorite hostess sets ever!
