In Color Club: Pretty Florals Hello Card

During the third month of my In Color Club, participants will create two of this lovely card design featuring the Pretty Florals Bundle and supplies that they receive in their kit. I’m loving the NEW embossing folder on this one!

Background Basics

I started with a 7-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock, scored at the 4-1/4″ mark. I embossed a 3/4″ x 5-1/4″ strip of Granny Apple Green with one of the NEW Glass & Gardens mini embossing folders. I adhered the de-bossed side face up—it looks so cool that way—to the outer part of the card inside. I also adhered a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of the Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper to the card front.

Sweet Blooms

I used the Pretty Florals Dies to cut out the three Strawberry Slush blooms, as well as the Shaded Spruce flower stems. I adhered them with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a Basic White Stylish Shapes circle die-cut. It’s popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.

Sweet Sentiment

I stamped the Sweet Blooms sentiment in Secret Sea ink onto a Lemon Lolly Stylish Shapes mini banner die-cut. It’s attached with SEAL Adhesive to the circle.

Finishing Touches

I finished by tying some Strawberry Slush Faux Linen Ribbon around the card front into a double-knot faux-bow. I also added three sizes of the Cloud Cover In Color Flat Pearls. So sweet!

Inside The Card

I stamped a matching Pretty Florals image on the inside of the card onto a 3″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White. The started with the detailed trio of blooms in full-strength Strawberry Slush, then added the solid blooms image in stamped-off Strawberry Slush ink. I finished with a stamped-off Shaded Spruce stems image. Even sweeter than before!
