I truly believe that you can never have too many birthday stamp sets, and when the 2014-2015 Annual Catalog was released, the Age Awareness birthday set caught my eye right away because it was a little bit different.

First of all, it's a photopolymer stamp set, so you get a lot of images for only $15.95, and you know they are going to stick securely to your clear mount blocks. 

Second, I like how the words "happy" and "birthday" are separate images that can be used in different ways with some of the other enclosed phrases. 

Finally, some of the word combinations are kinda funny.  I like stamps that let us lighten up a bit!

I tried out some of these fun Age Awareness phrase combinations on a couple of cards that also featured a colorful patterned paper from the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper pack.

Backgrond Basics—I adhered a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Sweet Taffy to the top half of the Rich Razzleberry card base. Then I added a 5-1/4" x 2" piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock that I embossed with the new Tiny Triangles Embossing Folder to the bottom half. 

One more 5-1/4" x 3/4" strip of Tempting Turquoise added just the pop of color it needed to direct your eye to the sentiment focal point.  I wrapped some 1/4" Whisper White Cotton Ribbon around the card, tied and trimmed for some additional texture.

Thanks, Facebook—It was the "Thanks, Facebook" phrase that made me HAVE to have this set.  If you're a Facebook user, then you know it's true!  There are so many friend's birthdays that I would never remember if it wasn't for that Facebook prompting everyday.

I stamped the words in Melon Mambo and Tempting Turquoise, then used a 2-Way Glue Pen to trace the letters and sprinkled it with some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

Awesome Arrows—Have you seen the new What's Up Punch?  I love the cute little arrows it makes!  I thought my Daffodil Delight arrows worked wonderfully here to emphasize the punch-line! 

This is a great photo to show off that Tiny Triangles texture background, too!

My second card pokes some fun at those birthday-conscious people!  Pair it up with the "You look way better at this age than I thought you would" and you've got a perfect card for an "old" friend!  Haha!
