Curvy Keepsakes Box Framelits—These adorable 2-1/2" tall boxes start with the Curvy Keepsakes Box Framelits.  Simply die-cut two sides of the box, fold on the score lines, and adhere them together with Sticky Strip or Fast Fuse Adhesive.

See those other little framelits that are included?  They make sweet little tags that are the perfect size for the box!

Curvy keepsakes pumpkins - two cool

Our Fun & Festive Boxes Class will be making one of these adorable pumpkin boxes with the Curvy Keepsakes Framelits. The class will make the basic pumpkin style, but doesn't it also look cute with the jack-o-lantern face?!

Curvy keepsakes pumpkins - plain

Pumpkin Basics—I started by die-cutting two Curvy Keepsakes box sides from a 1/2 sheet of Pumpkin Pie card stock. Before folding, I stamped the line image from the Work of Art stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink on each side to mimic the lines of a pumpkin. Then, I folded on the score lines and adhered with Fast Fuse Adhesive.

Finishing Accents—I loosely tied the box closed with a piece of Natural Chevron Ribbon. I die-cut an Autumn Accents leaf in Mossy Meadow card stock, curved the edges with a Bone Folder, and attached it to the pumpkin with Dimensionals.

I curled a skinny strip of Mossy Meadow card stock around a pencil, then adhered it to the leaf with Multipurpose Adhesive for a curly vine accent.

Finally, I tied some Old Olive Baker's Twine through a Autumn Wooden Elements embellishment and added it with a Glue Dot.

TIP: As you add your accents, make sure to keep them away from the box handles, so that the box can be opened up easily.

Curvy keepsakes pumpkins - jack

Jack-o-Lantern—I punched the eyes and nose from Basic Black card stock with the tip of my Triangle Punch.  For the smile, I punched a notch out of a scrap of Basic Black card stock with the Small Oval Punch, then punched over it again for a semi-circle shape.  Then, I used the 1/8" Hole Punch to snip out some teeth.  All the face parts are adhered with Multipurpose Adhesive.

Curvy keepsakes under tree - two cool

I also wanted my class participants to see how sturdy these Curvy Keepsakes boxes are when they are made with the heavyweight Under The Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper.  So, we're doing a second box with a simple tag accent.

Curvy keepsakes under tree - espresso

There are beautiful patterns on both sides of this specialty paper, so you can choose to make the Early Espresso one or the kraft & white patterned one.

Tiny Tags—I stamped one of the small words from the Endless Wishes Photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, then die-cut them with the circle tag from the Curvy Keepsakes Framelits.  I strung a little Gold Baker's Twine through the hole and around the Real Red Satin Woven Ribbon that I used to close the box.

Curvy keepsakes under tree - craft

Here's a version using one of the kraft & white patterns—so pretty!  I tried out a different Endless Wishes sentiment on an oval tag this time.
