Wonderful World Cards With Split Card Textures
Oh my goodness! I'm absolutely loving the new Split Card Textures Dies from the Annual Catalog! Peggy Tassler used them to create beautiful backgrounds for these lovely Wonderful World cards. Truth be told, there are LOTS of little pieces of paper that need to be poked out of the die-cut, but the resulting look is to die for!
Background Basics—Peggy started by die-cutting a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Basic White cardstock with one of the two cool Split Card Textures dies. She adhered some Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the layer, then mounted it to the front of a Soft Succulent card base
Focal Point—Peggy used Highland Heather and Soft Succulent Stampin' Write Markers to color directly onto the Wonderful World iris image. She stamped in onto Basic White cardstock and punched it out with the Decorative Circle Punch. It's layered onto a Highland Heather Layering Circles die-cut, then popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
Sweet Sentiment—Peggy stamped a sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Highland Heather ink onto Basic White, then die-cut it with the Sending Dies and popped it up with Mini Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—She added a Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon bow over the top of the ribbon with a Glue Dot. She also added a few Pearl Jewels to finish the look. So sweet!
Wonderful World Stamp Set—The Wonderful World stamp set is part of the Sale-a-Bration bundle selection that also includes a 12"x12" pack of beautiful coordinating Wonderful World Designer Series Papers. You can earn this combo when you place a $100 order in July or August.
Two Cool—Peggy knows I like "two cool" versions, so she also created a similar card with some different elements. She started by trying out the other Split Card Textures Dies. She wrapped that layer with a Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon and mounted it onto a Evening Evergreen card base. 
Focal Point—This time, Peggy inked another Wonderful World image with Polished Pink and Evening Evergreen Stampin' Write Markers and layered it onto a Polished Pink circle. The sentiment is also stamped in Polished Pink.Shop The Supplies List
