Zoo Crew Things That Go Cards

The adorable Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper has one paper pattern featuring animals on things that go! The Zany Zoo stamp set has one of those moving animals, the alligator. My first card spotlights the stamp set and the second focuses on a character that comes directly from the DSP. There are so many animals from which to choose on the paper that you're sure to find one that you love most!

Background Basics—This card begins with a 4" x 3-1/4" piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock that has been embossed with the Raindrops Embossing Folder. It's adhered to the top of a Coastal Cabana card base. Next, I added a 4" x 2" piece of black & white Zoo Crew DSP. I finished with a 4" x 1/2" strip of Granny Apple Green where the two papers came together.

Awesome Alligator—I die-cut a large Pool Party Stylish Shapes circle to have a base for the focal point. Then, I stamped the Zany Zoo alligator in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with Stampin' Blends Markers. The alligator, bike parts and leaves are in Lemon Lime Twist, the tires in Smoky Slate, the basket in Petal Pink and the flowers in Calypso Coral. We don't have a Coastal Cabana Blends pack, so I used a Coastal Cabana Stampin' Write Marker for the bike. You can make the bike any color you want if you don't have the Blends. Or, if you only have Stampin' Write Markers, those work great too!

I die-cut the alligator with the coordinating Zany Zoo Dies and adhered him onto the circle. I added a couple of Granny Apple Green die-cut trees, also made with the Zany Zoo Dies, then popped up the circle with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Zany Zoo sentiment in VersaMark ink onto a Basic Black Zany Zoo banner die-cut. Then, I sprinkled white embossing powder over the words, tapped off the excess and heat-set it until glossy and smooth with the Heat Tool. It's popped up with more Dimensionals. I finished by adding a couple of Calypso Coral Zany Zoo die-cut flowers, topped with Basic Rhinestone Jewels that are colored with Granny Apple Green Dark Blends.

Inside the Card—Don't forget to decorate the inside of your cards with more characters from the DSP! I do not include the DSP-cut animals in my class kit, so you'll want to order some of the paper for yourself!

Two Cool—My second card has a Calypso Coral card base with a Calypso Coral piece at the top embossed with the Exposed Brink Embossing Folder and finished with a Coastal Cabana strip.

Fantastic Fox—I used a Petal Pink circle backdrop and the same Granny Apple Green trees. The fox is a pre-printed image cut directly from the Zoo Crew DSP and adhered with SEAL Adhesive.

Finishing Touches—This time, the banner is in Basic White with Memento Black ink. I used the same Calypso Coral flowers and topped them with Rhinestone gems that were colored with a Dark Lost Lagoon Blends Marker.

Inside The Card—This cute little bunny from the DSP coordinated nicely with the card base.
