#1 Lift Me Up Sending Smiles Card

 

Who can have the winter blues when you can create with the Lift Me Up stamp set and Up & Away Thinlits instead?!!  This cheerful combination, featuring hot air balloons and hopeful greetings, is sure to be a favorite from the new catalog!  You can order the bundle beginning tomorrow!

 

Background Basics—Stamp a Lift Me Up greeting on the lower right of a 4-1/8" x 5-3/8" piece of Soft Sky.  Using the Up & Away Thinlits, die cut three Whisper White clouds.  Adhere those to the Soft Sky background, then trim off any excess that may hang off the edge.  Adhere the whole background onto a Basic Black card base.

Hot Air Balloon—Die cut a solid large hot air balloon shape out of Whisper White scrap with the Up & Away Thinlits.  Die cut another solid balloon shape from the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper, then adhere the two layers together with SNAIL. Next, die cut the hot air balloon outline shape from Basic Black, and the bucket shape from Party Animal Designer Series Paper.  Use the Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the Black outline to the two DSP shapes.  Pop the balloon up with Dimensionals!

#2 Lift Me Up Lift Your Spirits Card

 

If you like the Lift Me Up balloons, you'll want to be sure to select the coordinating Carried Away Designer Series Paper for your FREE Sale-a-Bration item (FREE item for every $50 you spend)!  This project gives you a sneak peek of this fun, matching patterned paper!

 

Background Basics—Adhere a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of the Sale-a-Bration exclusive Carried Away DSP to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Night of Navy card stock, then mount the layers onto a Mint Macaron card base. 

 

Sweet Sentiment—Stamp the Lift Me Up greeting in Night of Navy ink onto a 3-3/4" x 1" piece of Whisper White and adhere across the front of the card. 

 

Hot Air Balloon—The Up & Away Thinlits allow you to die cut each section of the hot air balloon, so you can decorate it with any colors you like!  This balloon has die-cut panels in Watermelon Wonder, Mint Macaron and Peekaboo Peach.  Adhere each of the panels onto a solid balloon die-cut.  Then layer the Night of Navy balloon outline die-cut over the top and adhere with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.  Pop the entire balloon up with Dimensionals.

 

Finishing Touches—Add Peekaboo Peach In Color Enamel Shapes to the balloon for some shiny accents!  Sweet!
