Cool Treats Glimmer Ice Cream Cards

If you were lucky enough to get your FREE pack of Sale-a-Bration Glimmer Paper before it sold out, then you'll love this quick & cute card. I'm so sad that I didn't get to share it before the glimmer paper was gone! I sure hope they bring some more colors of glimmer paper back in the upcoming catalog.

CASEd from Lisa Pretto from Ink Big Academy Stamps!

Background Basics—I love the sweet simplicity of this card! I started by embossing a 5-1/4" x 4" piece of Bermuda Bay card stock with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder, then adhering that to a Whisper White card base. Next, I created a foundation for my ice cream cone by die-cutting an oval with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and popping it up with Dimensionals.

Glimmer Cone—I die cut the ice cream scoop shapes from the three Glimmer Pack colors, along with a cone in Crumb Cake card stock, using the Frozen Treats Framelits. I popped up each piece with Dimensionals.

Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Cool Treats sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink onto a 3-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Whisper White card stock. I trimmed the end into a fishtail banner, then tucked the other end under the ice cream.

Two Cool—The second card is identical except for a Mint Macaron background! It really is a Cool Treat! Bye, bye Glimmer Paper Pack…I loved you so…!
