It's also a sneak peek of one of the 20 different cards we'll be creating at the Occasions Catalog & Sale-A-Bration Kickoff Party on January 4. SNEAK PEEK #1: Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper—I'm really loving this year's exclusive Sale–A-Bration Designer Series Paper called Best Year Ever. Today's card features three of the fun patterns in a delightful combination of Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede and Sahara Sand colors.
Background Basics—Along with the DSP, I created banners with Silver Glimmer Paper and Coastal Cabana card stock. Each banner measure 3-1/2" x 3/4" with each of the ends fishtailed. They are adhered to the Coastal Cabana card base with SNAIL.
I stamped the Coastal Cabana dot pattern on the Coastal Cabana banner with an image from another new Sale-A-Bration product that is the next sneak peek…
SNEAK PEEK #2: Best Day Ever Stamp Set—This card highlights Best Day Ever, one of the 6 exclusive Sale-A-Bration stamp sets that you can earn for FREE!
Choose Your Stamp Style! I love that you can choose any of this year's Sale-A-Bration stamps in your favorite stamp style: wood mount, clear mount or photopolymer! Woohoo!
Sweet Sentiment—I colored the greeting with Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede Markers, stamped it on Whisper White, then punched it with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. It's popped with Dimensionals.
Best Ever Heart—The small heart image is from the same stamp set, inked in Crushed Curry, and punched with the Itty Bitty Accents heart punch.
SNEAK PEEK #3: Best Year Ever Accessory Pack—The little button accent is part of a Sale-A-Bration ribbon & button combo pack! The accessories in the pack coordinate with the Best Year Ever DSP perfectly with ribbons & buttons in Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Crushed Curry.
I tied the button with White Baker's Twine and adhered it to the card front with a Glue Dot.
My second version uses the same banner elements for the background, but this time they are only fishtailed on one side. I used a Crushed Curry button, but otherwise the same.
