Hi Stamping Friends!
I've been busy going through all of the photos from Convention 2013! There was SO much to do while we were there—and there was no way to do everything. But, it sure was fun trying!
Thankfully, while I was busy taking notes and updating Facebook, my official Too Cool photographer, Darla Eigenschink, was helping to document the events! Most of these photos are hers! Thanks, Dar!
Here's a little pictorial to give you a "snapshot" of all of the fun we had in Salt Lake City!
Ready For General Session—Our group included Lyn Turnell, Too Cool team members Carmen DeBruce, Jodi Geers, and Darla Eigenschink, and Nelda Machovsky. Lyn and Nelda were our new roomies that we met for the first time when we got to Convention! Awesome ladies!
Let The Prize Patrol Begin—Nelda & Carmen were early winners of the Prize Patrol. They won the Christmas Collectibles Bundle from the Holiday Catalog!
Another Prize Winner—Darla's Prize Patrol earned her the awesome new Undefined Stamp Carving Kit. #new product #jealous
Display Boards Galore—In between the presentations on the Main Stage, we had all kinds of stuff to do, including checking out the traditional Display Boards. Demos flocked around the sample projects taking photos and getting inspired! I'll be posting some of my favorites in the coming days.
Demonstrator Presentations—Demos from all over the world presented at several booths during the Opening Social. This was one of my favorite parts! You can never have creative projects ideas!
Jenni Pauli (above left), from Germany, had some awesome ideas. You can see more at her Pauline's Papier blog (get out your translator!). And, I loved Sharlene Meyer (above right), from New Zealand. See her Convention highlights at Magpie Creates.
Celebrating 25 Years—In the center of all the action was a fabulous display commemorating each of the past 25 years! Each panel featured at catalog for the year, plus a few popular stamp images and a photo of Shelli Gardner. It was sure fun to see all the changes in catalog designs, stamps, and hairstyles!
It Was A Good Year—Darla was my very first recruit and guinea pig! She's standing next to the 2005-2006 catalog panel…the year she started stamping with me!
Product Playground—We had the chance to play with some of the new items like the Banner Kits from the Holiday Catalog, the newly available Stampin' Trimmer Rotary Addition with decorative blades, and the new Envelope Punch Board.
Momento Mall—Our exclusive Convention items could be ordered online this year, but we had a chance to check them out at Convention. The In Color nail polish was my favorite! Several of the guys from the Corporate office were painting demos' nails…too funny!
Getaway Incentive Trip—Thanks to my awesome customers and my downline's performance, I had a chance to march across the stage for earning the San Diego Getaway Incentive Trip this year! My first incentive trip! Too Cool!
That's Not All—They really spoiled us with activities at this 25-year celebration! Here's more of the stuff they had going on during the first half of Convention!
- Awesome project presentations from Shelli Gardner & other Stampin' Up! presentors!
- Karaoke with a LIVE band!
- Participating in the Guiness Book of World Records for most greeting cards sent simultaneously from a single location! We did it—2984 cards!
- Booking, Recruiting and Paper Pumpkin Labs to earn free products!
- Mini-Classes to create and MDS hybrid and Muslin bag project!
