146037GHi Stamping Friends!

I'm loving the new Carols of Christmas Bundle!  I have to admit, I didn't at first. When it was first introduced to demonstrators back in July, I honestly wasn't that excited.  But know that I've got it in my hands and I've seen how awesome it is to work with, I'm completely crazy about it!

I'm also excited about the rest of the Mega Suite of products that coordinates with it!  Oh, you're going to LOVE all the goodies!  Just wait until you see all the fun stuff!

The Carols of Christmas video that Stampin' Up! released gives you a great idea of the versatility of the bundle, but I thought I would share a few of those sample cards up-close, so you can really see the details!  All of the products are currently available in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog, so you can start making these projects right away!  There are a few cool little tricks that I discovered in their samples, too.  Get all the details below!

Hope you fall in love with the Carols of Christmas bundle just like I have!

Carols of Christmas 1

Peace on Earth Trees Card

The festive Be Merry Designer Series Paper from the Annual Catalog makes a delightful background on this card.  The Card Front Builder Thinlits from the featured bundle were used to create the Old Olive die-cut trees in the background and to die-cut the cute little stamped deer.

The Carols of Christmas greeting was colored with Garden Green, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler markers for a multicolor image on Whisper White card stock, then it was die-cut with the Stitched Shapes circle die.  It's popped up over a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper and tied with Cherry Cobbler ink-dyed White Baker's Twine.

Carols of Christmas 2

Peace on Earth Poinsettia Card

The Be Merry DSP layer on this card is die-cut with the corner poinsettia dies from the Card Front Builder Thinlits, creating peek-thru elements.  See the sweet scallop white edges?  Those borders are created with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch!  There's a skinny strip of more DSP folded and tucked under the background for a beautiful layered look.

The Carols of Christmas greeting was heat-set in Copper Embossing Powder.  I love the loops of Copper Trim playing off the embossed words.  The stamp set has poinsettia, leaves and holly images with matching dies, so embellishing the greeting with festive floral layers is super-easy!

Carols of Christmas 3

Peace on Earth Tree Shaker Card

This time the card background comes from the Eastern Palace Designer Series Paper and includes a little machine-sewn stitching.  The focal point is the shaker!  The tree shapes, along with the stars, diamonds and moon border along the top, are all die-cut with the Card Front Builder Thinlits!  The layer is then backed with a Window Sheet and popped up with the help of Foam Strips.  The shaker contents are Mini Silver Sequins and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.

The Carols of Chritmas sentiment was sponged on the rubber with Soft Sky ink in the center and Dapper Denim ink on the top and bottom for a duo-tone look.  The card is accented with more Mini Silver Sequin Trim, 1/8" Silver Ribbon, Rhinestone Jewels, and a little stamped and die-cut deer!

Deck The Halls Photo Overlay Card

Isn't this card clever & cool!  Lots of families I know like to send photo cards for the holidays, so this is a fun, hand-made variation on that concept!  The photo is mounted to a card front, then the Vellum card stock overlay adds a cool frosty "filter."  Check out the detailed die-cut border that the Card Front Builder dies can create!  Love it!  The sentiment is stamped in Archival Black Ink and embellished with a single holly sprig colored in Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler and die-cut.

The top of the card is finished off with a double-bow in Cherry Cobbler Double-Stitched Ribbon and Linen Thread.  So sweet!

Deck The Halls Mini Ornaments Card

Oooh, the glitzy details on this card are so fun!  The background is once again from the Be Merry DSP and it's layered with a Gold Foil frame die-cut with that detailed die-cut border!  Look at that brilliant red ribbon with the gold edges!  That's the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon, which is Very Vanilla in color, altered with some Real Red ink!  Wow!  Love that accent!

The background is stamped with Old Olive ornaments from the Carols of Christmas stamp set, and some of the ornaments have been die-cut and popped up.  The greeting is stamped in Archival Black ink.  I love the faux-shine the letters seem to have with the cool font on this greeting.  The pop of red in the middle of the sentiment and tiny Gold Metallic Thread bow really completes the look!
