We start with the pretty purple posy, but I had to create this one without coordinating ink. Due to excessive foaming, Stampin' Up! has pulled this color of ink to resolve the issue. We should see it back sometime soon. In the meantime, I used Basic Gray and lots of the lovely Purple Posy cardstock!
Background Basics—I embossed a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Purple Posy cardstock with the Tufted embossing folder, then mounted it with Tear & Tape Adhesive onto a Purple Posy card base. I die-cut a Whisper White square with the Stitched Shapes dies and layered than onto a Basic Black scallop square die-cut with the Layering Squares dies. They are adhered to the card front with SNAIL Adhesive.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Floral Essence sentiment in Basic Gray onto a 3" x 3/4" strip of Purple Posy, fishtail cut the ends and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Layered Flower—I stamped the 3-petal flower from Floral Essence in Basic Gray twice onto Purple Posy cardstock, then punched out with the coordinating Perennial Essence Flower Punch. Both layers are popped up with Dimensionals. I finished by adding a little Wink of Stella shimmer to the flower center.
I used the same stamp set to create the next card in pretty Rococo Rose!
Background Basics—This one begins by stamping the Floral Essences flower in Rococo Rose all over a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. I also stamped the flower centers in Rococo Rose. I layered the background onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Black, then added a 3-3/4" x 1" Basic Black strip across the front. I wrapped a strip of the new Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon across the front, securing the ends on the back with Tear & Tape Adhesive, then mounted all the layers onto the Rococo Rose card base.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Floral Essence sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto a Stitched Shapes circle die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals. Next, I punched out two little Crumb Cake branches with the Leaf Punch and tucked them under the sentiment with Glue Dots. I finished with a couple of Pearl Jewels.
The NEW Woven Threads Designer Series Paper features all of the NEW In Colors and I featured a fun diamond pattern on this Terracotta Tile card.
Background Basics—I started by adhering a 1-1/2" x 5" strip of Woven Threads DSP onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment from the NEW Above The Clouds stamp set next to it in Smoky Slate ink. The layer is mounted onto a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Basic Gray cardstock, then adhered to a Terracotta Tile card base.
Beautiful Balloons—I stamped an Above The Clouds hot air balloon image in Smoky Slate onto Seaside Spray cardstock and another hot air balloon onto a Woven Threads DSP pattern. Then, I punched the shapes with the coordinating Hot Air Balloon Punch. I stamped the balloon basket in Smoky Slate onto Seaside Spray and Terracotta Tile cardstocks and punched those out, as well. The Seaside Spray balloon was adhered with SNAIL and the Terracotta Tile was popped up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I finished by coloring Rhinestone Jewels with Dark Balmy Blue and Dark Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Markers and floated them around the balloons.
The NEW In Colors will also be represented in a 6" x 6" In Color Designer Series Paper Pack, featuring four different patterns for each color. I love that one of the patterns in trendy gingham! I've paired the beautiful blue Seaside Spray with another gorgeous two-step flower stamp set called To A Wild Rose.
Background Basics—I adhered a 1" x 5-1/2" strip of the Seaside Spray In Color DSP to a Seaside Spray card base. Then, I tied some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the card front.
Two-Step Flower—I stamped the solid To A Wild Rose image in Seaside Spray onto a 3" x 4" piece of Whisper White. Then I stamped the flower's outline image over the top in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the word "blessed" from To A Wild Rose in Seaside Spray ink under the flower, then added the second part of the phrase in Memento Black ink under that. I mounted the stamped layer onto a 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Basic Black cardstock, then popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I added three Pearl Jewels to the flower center to complete this sweet flower.
I always welcome a new stamp set that can be used for masculine cards, so I was excited to see the awesome Sailing Home stamp set. It looks great with the deep teal shade of Pretty Peacock.
Background Basics—I started by embossing a 5-1/2" x 2" panel of Gray Granite cardstock with the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder and adhering it to the Pretty Peacock card base with Tear & Tape. Next, I tied some Gray Granite Texture Weave Ribbon around the card base.
Lovely Lighthouse—I stamped a Sailing Home lighthouse image in Pretty Peacock ink onto a 3" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White. I added the seagulls in Gray Granite next to the lighthouse before mounting the layer onto a 3-1/8" x 3-5/8" and popping it up with Dimensionals.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Sailing Home sentiment in Memento Black ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut it with the coordinating Smooth Sailing dies. I love the cool embossed details that the die adds to the banner die-cut. It's popped up with Dimensionals.
