Painted Seasons Happiest Birthday Cards
I've been playing with the awesome Painted Seasons stamp set in colors that match the coordinating Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper, but the blooms look amazing in all kinds of color combinations! Today, I experimented with a couple different palettes that each provide a different look. The verdict is that these flower, with their DisINKtive details, look fantastic no matter what colors they are stamped in!

Background Basics—I started with a Night of Navy card base and added a 2-3/4" x 5-1/2" background layer in Mint Macaron.
Beautiful Blooms—For the floral layer, I stamped the largest Painted Seasons bloom in Balmy Blue ink three times onto a 2-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of Whisper White. Next, I added three smaller flowers in Night of Navy ink. I added some leafy branches in Mint Macaron ink between the flowers, then filled in the extra spaces with the cluster of dots in Gray Granite ink. I added it to the card front with SNAIL.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Picture Perfect Birthday sentiment in Night of Navy ink onto a Whisper White 2-3/4" x 1-3/8" Rectangle Stitched Shapes die-cut and popped it up with Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I wrapped some Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon around the card front and tied it into a double-knot. Finally, I added a few Gray Granite Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins around the sentiment. I'm loving this darker color combination!
Two Cool—The second card begins with a Petal Pink card base and the same Mint Macaron layer down the middle.
Blooms & Bow—This time, I stamped the largest Painted Seasons flower in Highland Heather, the smaller one in Petal Pink, the leaves in Mint Macaron and the dots in Gray Granite inks. I wrapped a Petal Pink/Whisper White Variegated Ribbon around the card front for the faux-bow.
Sentiment & Finishing Touches—The sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite ink and I used Petal Pink Adhesive-Backed Sequins to accent it. How lovely!
