Beautiful Peacock All About You Card

I received this lovely Beautiful Peacock card as a swap card created by Jessica Brigden.  I love her color combination!  I also love that she used the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper, which just happens to be available as a Sale-a-Bration selection on the 3rd Release Sale-a-Bration Flyer PDF

Background Basics—Jessica stamped the Beautiful Peacock swirly leaves image several times in Tempting Turquoise ink onto a 4-3/4" x 3-1/2" piece of Whisper White.  She stamped over that image with the coordinating dotted image in Island Indigo ink.  She added a sentiment from the Beautiful Peacock set in Island Indigo ink on the bottom right corer. The layer was adhered to a 5" x 3-3/4" mat of Island Indigo cardstock, then mounted onto a Tempting Turquoise card base.

Pretty Peacock—The Beautiful Peacock is created with two different images.  The peacock was stamped in Island Indigo ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  The tail feathers stamp was inked by sponging on Old Olive and Tempting Turquoise inks, then two-step stamping over the peacock.  It's punched with the 2" Circle Punch, then layered onto a Bermuda Bay Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper punched with the NEW 2-1/4" Circle Punch.  TIP: Cover the back of the circle with Tear & Tape to stick the cardstock to the Glimmer Paper for a secure hold.  Jessica finished by adding some floating Rhinestone Jewels around the leaves on the background layer.

Beautiful Peacock Happy Birthday Card
 
I received this swap card from Debbie Groulik, one of my Too Cool Team members.  I love her Berry Burst/Rich Razzleberry take on this stamp set!  She also used the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Embossing Folder, which is now available as a Sale-a-Bration selection…woohoo!
 
Background Basics—Debbie embossed a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Smoky Slate card stock with the Scattered Sequins folder, then adhered it to a 4" x 5-1/4" layer of Whisper White.  She tied some Berry Burst Finely Woven Ribbon around the layers, then mounted them onto a Rich Razzleberry card base.

Pretty Peacock—Debbie stamped the Beautiful Peacock in Rich Razzleberry ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then two-step stamped the tail feathers in Berry Burst ink.  She die-cut the image with the Stitched Shapes Framelits, then mounted it on a Berry Burst Layering Circles Framelits scallop circle die-cut.  It's popped up with Dimensionals.
 
Sweet Sentiment—Debbie stamped a Beautiful You sentiment in Berry Burst onto a 2-3/4" x 1" piece of Whisper White and fishtailed the ends with Paper Snips.  It's popped up with Dimensionals, too.
