The Hello Cupcake stamp set is perfect for birthdays big and small and for any age. Best of all, you can earn Hello Cupcake stamp set for FREE with a $50 order during Sale-a-Bration thru March 31, 2019.
Background Basics—I CASEd this sweet card directly from the Sale-a-Bration brochure and it is so darling in person! I started by die-cutting a Gorgeous Grape layer with the Rectangle Stitched Framelits shape measuring 3-3/8" x 4-3/4". I stamped randomly all over this layer with the Hello Cupcake sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink, then mounted the layer onto a Gorgeous Grape card base with SNAIL adhesive.
3-Tier Cupcake—I stamped the bottom of the cupcake in Gray Granite ink onto Whisper White cardstock. I also stamped the frosting in Highland Heather, Grapefruit Grove and Coastal Cabana inks onto Whisper White cardstock. I used the Call Me Cupcake Framelits to die-cut the shapes. These limited-time framelits are already sold out, but if you don't have them, the shapes are easily trimmed with Paper Snips. I popped each of the shapes with Dimensionals onto the card front.
TIP: I trimmed off the "shadow" part of the image at the bottom of the cupcake cup, because I liked it better visually.
Sweet Sentiment—I stamped the Hello Cupcake sentiment in Gorgeous Grape ink onto a Whisper White 1-5/8" x 1-1/8" Rectangle Stitched Shapes die-cut and popped it up with more Dimensionals.
Finishing Touches—I tied a bow with the Calypso Coral Ombré Ribbon and attached it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot. I finished by adding three Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins around the focal point. Did I mention super-cute?!!
Two Cool—I created a second card with a Pool Party card base and Rectangle Stitched background, stamped in Pool Party ink. This time, I also added a 2-3/4" x 4" Vellum Cardstock layer over the stamped background to make it a little more subtle. I adhered it with SNAIL adhesive behind where the cupcake and sentiment were going to be mounted. Later, I added a Glue Dot behind one of the top sequins, too.
Cupcake—This cake has the same Gray Granite base and it's topped with frosting in Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist.
Finishing Touches—The sentiment is also inked with Pool Party ink and decorated with a Lemon Lime Twist Ombré Ribbon bow. I finished with the more Gingham Gala blue sequins.
