From The Heart Silver Mini Gable Box

Our local Too Cool Team celebrated the holidays this week and I gave each attendee a little treat inside a box created with brand new items from the Occasions Catalog!

Sneak Peek #1—The new Silver Mini Gable Boxes are so lovely and versatile! The box measures 4" x 2-1/2" x 2-1/2", so it's the perfect size for all kinds of goodies and gifts! The sides of the box interlock to close securely and the handle is so handy! But, my favorite part is the finish on the box—it's a soft matte silver! It's got just the right amount of metallic essence to provide an elegant foundation for decorating and classy enough that it doesn't even need to be decorated!

Sneak Peek #2—If you enjoy the beautiful White Metallic-Edge Satin Ribbon currently in the Annual Catalog, you will love the Berry Burst version edged with silver! The Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon has rich color, shiny metallic accents, and it's soft, flexible and easy-to-tie! I love it! I also love how it looks tied around the pretty gable box!

Terrifc Tag—I created a darling little tag for the box starting with a Lots of Label die-cut in Rich Razzleberry card stock.

Sneak Peek #3—You may remember that we had a pack of 6×6" Glimmer Paper assortment during the Sale-a-Bration promotion last year. This year, a new assortment is available in the Occasions Catalog! Woohoo! The Myths & Magic 6×6" Glimmer Paper features iridescent, light green and turquoise glimmer papers. I added a 1/2" strip of the turquoise on the tag for a pop of sparkle and color!

Sneak Peek #4-#5—I stamped a pretty striped heart from the new Heart Happiness photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink onto Whisper White, then die-cut it with the new Lots to Love Box Framelits. It's popped up with Dimensionals.

Too Cool—Did you notice that I included two cool flowers to match my Too Cool logo? I stamped the flowers from Heart Happiness in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with a light Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends marker and Elegant Eggplant ink with a Blender Pen. I hand-cut the flowers out and added them with more Dimensionals. I also added a little shimmer with Wink of Stella.

Sneak Peek #6—The sentiment is stamped using the gorgeous Petal Palette stamp set in Elegant Eggplant onto a 3/4" wide strip of Whisper White. It's popped up with Dimensionals, too. I've only been using the awesome sentiments from the Petal Palette stamp set so far, but it's actually filled with beautiful images…and an early favorite for me!

Sneak Peek #7—I punched a hole at the top with the 1/8" hand-held circle punch, then tied on the tag with the new Silver Baker's Twine! It's another fun way to add a little shine to projects!

I finished up by adding a single Rhinestone Jewel that was colored with a dark Old Olive Stampin' Blends Marker.

Sneak Peek #8—I love that Stampin' Up! is offering an assorted pack of Sweet Soireé Ready Shreddie to use with the new Mini Gable Boxes! I filled my boxes with the Berry Burst crinkled shred because it matched perfectly! But, check this out…

…the bag is HUGE! The assortment includes 2 oz. each of Berry Burst, White and shiny Silver shred and once you open the bag, I swear it multiplies! There is so much of it! And, it a really nice quality of paper without a lot of tiny, unusable remnants that I've found in other shred packs. It's a great value! Who knew I could get so excited about shred?!
