I had so much fun assembling my new Color Me Happy Project Kit yesterday! I thought you might want a closer look at the projects—they are really cute and so much fun to color!

Color Me Happy Bundle Designs—Each 16-card kit includes 4 each of 4 different card designs. The Color Me Happy images in the bundle are diverse, so you have lots of versatility in the types cards you can create! I was delighted with the sweet accents that add dimension and detail to these pretty cards!

Lanterns Celebrate Cards—This is my favorite card from the kit! The lanterns were fun to color! The kit recommends only using 4 colors of markers: Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Night of Navy & Pink Pirouette, but wouldn't this card be cool with multicolor lanterns? So festive!

Coloring Tips—I stamped the Color Me Happy images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink (the recommended ink), then colored in the lanterns with Pool Party and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends Markers. I first colored in the entire image with the lighter color brush tip, then added some shading in the darker color brush tip, then blended the color with the lighter color fine bullet tip. For a little extra highlight, I colored the center with the Color Lifter to pull some of the color away. How fun!

Lantern Card Details—The card base is pre-printed with white on the inside. There is foil tape to add a shiny detail along the side. There is enough Baker's Twine to wrap around the layer and tie on the tassel, but I simply added the tassel and bow with Glue Dots. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink onto a pre-printed, pre-cut rectangle, then popped up with Dimensionals. Adhesive is not included in the kit.

Flower Happy For You Cards—The instructions recommend the Pink Pirouette markers for this card, but this is another card design that you could easily add other colors to change it up. It would be fun to play with Calypso Coral and Rich Razzleberry, too. And check out those cool envelopes…lined with pretty coordinating patterns and elegant gold foil edges.

Coloring Tips—I stamped the Color Me Happy flowers randomly in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Pink Pirouette light and dark markers. I approached it just like the lanterns: light all over, shade with dark, blend with light. You can shade in many different ways, but that is my favorite way.

Flower Card Details—I temporarily tacked down the diagonal stamped piece to help me add the gold foil tape across the pre-printed card base. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black ink onto a pre-printed, pre-cut banner, then popped up with Dimensionals. I added the sequins with a few dabs of Multipurpose Adhesive.

Oh Hello Bird Cards—These 4 x 4" cards also come with cute envelopes. The instructions suggest coloring the birds with Pool Party and Pink Pirouette, but I selected Calypso Coral instead. Their beaks and legs are colored with Pumpkin Pie.

Birds Card Details—These cards have a little White Baker's Twine wrapped around the focal point, a little twine bow and more sequins. It was a little difficult to stamp the clear mount sentiment on the small rectangle die-cut, so I stamped it on the back side of some of the extra card stock pieces in the kit, then hand-cut with my Paper Snips. It's adhered to a shiny gold starburst element, then popped up with Dimensionals. Cute little birdies!

Thank You Cards—These 4 x 4" cards are colored with Pool Party, Night of Navy and Pumpkin Pie.
