Did you know that we are just TWO MONTHS away from a brand new Annual Catalog?! Now is the time to take another look at the offerings and make a plan to order them as soon as you can. By the end of this month, retired items will be announced and items will be while supplies last! Today, I'm sharing a couple of swap cards I received featuring the A Fish & A Wish Bundle…and they are so sweet!
BREAKING NEWS: Color Refresh Is Coming!—The rumors have been flying and Stampin' Up! has officially confirmed that we will see a Color Refresh in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog coming out on May 2. What does that mean? It means that they have reviewed the entire Color Collection and are changing it up to keep them relevant and trendy, while filling in any gaps our current offering might have. Some current colors may be retiring, and some previously retired colors might be returning! Some brand new colors might be introduced, including 5 brand new In Colors! Woohoo! This is SO exciting! I'll have more information about the new colors on March 29, when demonstrators get a sneak peek!

I simply adore receiving swap cards created by Deb Snyder, because she likes to add a clever twist to a traditional card. This swap card featuring the A Fish & A Wish Bundle is the perfect example of her creativity! While it looks like a traditional card in the above photo, the card actually opens under the focal point element only. Too Cool!
Background Basics—Deb's card base starts with a 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" piece of Crumb Cake. She decorated it with a 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Petal Pink that is embossed with one of the Stripes & Splatters Embossing Folders. She then layered a 5-1/4" x 1-1/4" piece of Texture Chic Designer Series Paper across that layer.
Focal Point Mini Card—Deb scored a 7-1/2" x 2-3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock at the 3-3/4" mark to create the mini card that is mounted onto the flat card base. She decorated it with a 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of Crumb Cake cardstock stamped with a Soft Suede sentiment and a Crumb Cake plant from the A Fish & A Wish Bundle.
Fish Trio—Deb stamped the two small A Fish & A Wish fish images in Petal Pink ink and the larger one in Crumb Cake onto Basic White cardstock. They are punched out with the Fish Builder Punch and popped up with Dimensionals. She finished with a small piece of the Petal Pink Soft Polyester Ribbon tied up with some Linen Thread and attached with a Glue Dot. Super-cute!
Inside The Card—Deb also stamped on the inside of the card with a Crumb Cake image before adhering it to the card front. Oh, how I love this card style!
A Fish & A Wish Well Wishes Card #2
Laura Milligan created this A Fish & A Wish Bundle card spotlighting a beautiful, soft & subtle color combination.
Background Basics—Laura's card begins with a 5-3/8" x 4-1/8" piece of Pool Party that's been intricately cut with the Stitched Greenery Die. It's mounted onto a Thick Basic White card base. She added a 2" x 4" piece of Texture Chic DSP, then another 1" x 3-1/2" piece of Texture Chic, layered on the left side of the card front.
Fish Wish—Laura stamped the sentiment and plants in Soft Succulent ink onto a 4" x 3" piece of Basic White. She added in a few waves images in Pool Party ink before popping up the layer with Dimensionals. She stamped the fish in Petal Pink ink onto Basic White, punched it with the punch, tied it with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon and popped it up, too. Look closely and you'll see a fin on the fish. I believe she used the wavy image to stamp a pattern, then used the punch to punch out the shape. It's added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. She finished by adding three Iridescent Pearls that look exactly like little bubbles under the sea! So, so pretty!
