Blossoms In Bloom Sure Do Miss You Card

I received this swap card from the fabulous Dena Rekow and it features a pretty new stamp set called Blossoms In Bloom. I especially love her color combo of Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Granny Apple Green.

Stamped Background—Dena stamped the large Blossoms In Bloom image in Coastal Cabana ink onto a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White. She added in the dotted flower centers with Night of Navy ink, then stamped some leave images from the set in Granny Apple Green around the blooms. She adhered the stamped layer onto a 4" x 5-1/4" Night of Navy layer.

Finishing Touches—Dena tied some Denim Ribbon around the layers before mounting them onto a Coastal Cabana card base. She finished by stamping a greeting from the Blossoms In Bloom set in Night of Navy ink onto a 2" x 1/2" strip of Whisper White. She fish-tail cut the end and popped it up with Dimensionals so it was flush with the edge of the layers. Love it!

I also adore the colors in this lovely swap card created by Kim Peck! She combined the Many Layered Blossoms from the bundle to give added texture and detail to her Blossoms In Bloom card.

Stamped Background—Kim created multicolored flowers by sponging Seaside Spray and Highland Heather inks onto the Blossoms In Bloom rubber stamp, then stamping it onto a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Whisper White. She added flower centers in So Saffron and leaves in Mint Macaron.

Next, she die-cut the coordinating Many Layered Blossoms from Whisper White cardstock and adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue over the top.

Finishing The Card—Kim added some pretty Misty Moonlight & silver twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the layer and mounted it onto a Purple Posy card base. She finished by stamping the Blossoms In Bloom birthday greeting in Mint Macaron onto Whisper White and die-cutting it with the Ornate Frames dies. It's layered onto a Purple Posy coordinating Ornate Frames die and popped up with Dimensionals onto the card front.
